Private parking for up to 2 vehicles, rural walks on the doorstep and a 3 minute stroll to the local pub. Great base to explore the area, only a short distance from the market town of Bampton (filming location for Downton Abbey) and with easy access to Burford (Gateway to the Cotswolds), Cotswold Wildlife Park, Clarkson's Farm locations, and a multitude of other villages, walks and historic sites.

Boutique accommodation in Downton Abbey village

The ground floor of the property consists of lounge/diner with table that sits 5. There’s an L-shaped sofa that converts into a double bed and 42” LCD. Kitchen consists of microwave, kettle, fridge, single plug in induction ring and toaster and all the essentials you need. The ground floor has underfloor heating so it’s cosy warm. Upstairs is a king size bed, large bedroom, fantastic walk-in shower, smaller sofa bed and area to hang your stuff up. There’s even space for your four legged friend.

Beautiful Historic High Street Cottage in Burford

Old Burford Cottage is the largest 2 bed on the High Street. The cottage was originally two cottages, but we have lovingly converted into one spacious cottage for upto 4 people. A beautiful cottage built in the region of 1840 to accompany The George Inn. Situated 10 yards off the famous Burford High Street, it is peacefully quiet and has been refurbished to an immaculate standard, whilst keeping tradition. The location is possibly the best in Burford, it’s genuinely amazing …location, location!

Bakery and cafe 2 miles away known for its good coffee, sourdough and homemade pastries. A 5-10 minute drive to the famous Jeremy Clarksons “Farmers Dog” pub!
