The cabin sits on a hill (not on the lake) about 35 ft from another home on 40 acres and has 105 ft of private lake frontage shared with my another unit. Wildlife along with flower gardens throughout the property. Black Mountain Recreational Area is 10 minutes away. Mackinaw, Petoskey, Ocqueoc Falls 45 minutes away. Restaurants 10 minutes away.

The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Relax at our modern, peaceful cottage on the pristine Twin Lakes next to the Black Mountain Recreation Area, offering 500+ miles of groomed trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and off-roading. Relax on our spacious deck and grill your favorite meal. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped and stocked, and we have high-speed internet. We have a dock for boating, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing. We also have a canoe and kayaks for guests.

Lakewood Cottage resides in a small, private association. The association resides along the shores of Lake Huron in Cheboygan County. Guests have access to 4 private association Lake Huron access points that also include some playground equipment for the littles! Surrounded by the tall Northern Michigan trees, this rustic cottage is the perfect location to get away and relax - you will definitely feel like you are "Up North" when you stay with us!
