Jon’s place was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing! – It was very private and we very much enjoyed our stay in this cosy little cabin. Very well located in the middle of the Golden Circle with a fantastic view of the nearby mountain. It was the perfect location to explore Iceland's beautiful nature - All major attractions of the Golden Circle are reachable within 1 hour drive and with a slightly longer drive you can easily see much of the south. It felt like home from home after a long day of exploring and we loved watching the sun go down over the mountain from the deck. We were also very lucky to have a fabulous display of the northern lights at the end of April! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us for our first trip to Iceland!

So often, air bnbs have failed to live up my hopes but this place does not disappoint. Perfectly located for us- just off a main route but still quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed and we especially appreciated how warm and cosy it was after long days of exploring. We really couldn’t have asked for more!

We absolutely LOVED the Villa. It was immaculate, modern and so well stocked. Hosts were ideal and it was one of my favorite venues ever. So many comfortable beds and the ideal spot to achieve our bucket list objective of seeing the Northern Lights. We’ll never forget this stay. Thank you!

Just as described! Krista was very helpful with recommendations and directions. Plenty of space and great living and dining room. Views are amazing. The hot tub was amazing, definitely try after a long day of hikes!

Einfach überragend! Die Hütte war perfekt – gemütlich, top ausgestattet und mit einer atemberaubenden Lage. Das absolute Highlight: Wir konnten die Polarlichter direkt über dem Pool und der Terrasse erleben – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Island in seiner schönsten Form genießen wollen.

Das Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet, hat viel Platz und Komfort. Wir waren zu zehnt und wurden von einem erleuchteten Haus empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. 😉 Es gab viele Details, die den Aufenthalt attraktiv machten, eine tolle Küche mit zwei Öfen, eine große Tafel zum Speisen/Spielen ein HDMI-Kabel, das wir mit unseren Adaptern zum gemeinsamen Anschauen der gemachten Fotos/Videos am TV nutzen konnten. Der heiße Whirlpool wurde uns mehrfach wunschgerecht von Agla & Karl proaktiv vorbereitet und war ein Genuss, besonders im Kontrast mit Eis und Schnee am ersten Tag sowie den Nordlichtern am letzten Abend. Am Golden Circle gelegen, gibt’s viel Attraktives in der Nähe, z.B. Geysire, der Gullfoss, eine spontane Gletschertour auf den Langjökull etc. Unsere Tagesausflüge gingen bis zum Vulkangebiet um Grindavik und an der Südküste mit den vielen Wasserfällen bis zum schwarzen Sandstrand. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

This is by far one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. The host had everything that you could possibly need plus some things that I didn’t expect (international plugs). She was fast to answer questions and friendly.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was toasty warm with lovely outlooks and space yo relax while still feeling part of the beautiful scenery. The house was well equipped. The host was very responsive when we needed some help to work the hot tub.

A beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous area with stunning views. I used this as my home base from which to explore the Golden Circle. The cabin was clean and tidy, the kitchen had all the basics, and there were some lovely touches including chocolate bars, some seltzer, a full carton of milk and cereal. And the heated towel rack was an incredible luxury that I used every day! Sylvia was not there and did not respond to my message telling her what time I would arrive, but her very nice and helpful husband Gylfi greeted me when I arrived and gave me a tour. He also came out to say goodbye when I left and we had a nice chat. I would like to have used the hot tub but it wasn't especially clean. I ended up at the nearby hot pot Secret Lagoon anyway, which was great, so it was not a big loss.

Very peaceful and homely cabin in beautiful surroundings. Svanna is very helpful and the cabin is well kept and cosy. Rural location - we were lucky enough to catch the northern lights 4 nights in a row! Would happily stay again, thank you ☺️

The house was just perfect for us. It is nestled in quiet scenic area that is a short drive to the main sites. The house was lovely and warm. The sulphur smell when showering was a shock initially, but something we got used to very quickly. It even snowed while we were there. A special treat for the kids. If you stay here, don't forget to visit the Fontana Spa down the road. Check in was incredibly easy and all of the instructions were simple to follow. You will have to drive down the road to dispose of your rubbish at the communal waste facility. The house very much reminded me of Centre Parcs.

nous avons passés trois nuits dans un logement très agréable à proximité de nombreux sites. il est très bien équipé, au calme et nous avons pu voir des aurores boréales depuis le canapé à travers les baies vitrées du salon. nous recommandons fortement ce logement ! merci pour l'accueil et les idées de visites à proximité !

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice cabin amongst the woods in Husafell. We were fortunate to enjoy the aurora from the deck on both nights! The floor heating made the cabin cosy. Husafell is wonderful place to enjoy nature, including several treks nearby, and Karl's cabin provided a nice home base.
