Theresa the co-host went out of her way to maintain communication with me. At any point I wanted to give her updates or ask any questions she was only a phone call away. I felt super welcomed and safe. She stocked the house with all of your basic food needs. There was a surplus of kitchen supplies to make a home cooked meal. Parking at the well and hiking up to the cabin with my belongings was quite a challenge It's about 65 steps. Once up there I took full advantage of the Hottub. I recommend to any guests to bring their own hammock to enjoy swinging in the front porch and listening to the creek. I recommend wearing hiking shoes to go up to the cabin. I absolutely recommend getting to the cabin way before dark, and if unable bring your own headlamps and flashlights. Be hyper prepared if you've never been into isolated wilderness like that. beautiful place, very beautiful view. wish we couldve stayed one more night. we would like to go back again for fall or maybe winter to see the views. overall our favorite bnb yet hands down

Phenomenal place to stay!! More than we expected. If looking for a getaway and do some skiing this is the place to stay. Nancy was so helpful and always checked in on us to make sure we were good. If staying in the winter months for some skiing, definitely make sure you are in a 4WD.

This place is unbelievable. The view from the rental was spectacular. Chris and his family were great hosts with clear and precise instructions , great local attraction and wonderful food eating recommendation’s. I’d highly recommend renting if ever in the area. I know we will.

This little cabin was in a gorgeous location! Right next to the snow tubing and not far from grandfather mountain! The views from the hot tub were amazing! Brought our two dogs and they loved it! The patio with the hot tub was fenced in so the dogs were able to hang with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub! Definitely would recommend and plan to come back!

We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the front yard for all day sledding! The house was spacious - perfect for our four families! Most importantly, the hosts were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely be back to enjoy the river in the summer!!

Will was a great host and very responsive. His home was beautiful, had great amenities and most importantly clean and taken care of! Most will need 4x4 to get up and down the driveway especially it has snowed or is icy.

I absolutely loved my stay with Nancy. One of one host and experience. Stunning property! She was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. We had a wonderful time talking with her and learning about the area and her property. Her home was gorgeous and full of places to explore and things to do. I'll definitely be returning and taking pottery lessons next time!

Richard’s cozy cabin in fleetwood was a very good value for our 2 seniors + pet party. The cabin has a lot of outdoor space with a gazebo in front, a deck by the front door and a new beautiful covered deck with gas fire pit off the back door through the bedroom. We very much appreciated the $0 pet fee for our 4-legged friend. And our compliments to housekeeping, we do not take that for granted. Comfortable bed, kitchen is tight but well equipped and stocked with essentials. An advisory for seniors with a dog, the walks will be up and down some steep hilly terrain; consult your cardiologist.

My friend and I absolutely love staying at Elizabeth’s place. Very quiet and private. Jason and his son were very sweet bringing fresh chicken eggs for sale for both of us. We were so excited we loved walking around the property. It’s private and quiet looking at the peaceful pond, we will definitely stay here again

The bed is amazing and location is walkable to restaurants, shops and university. Earthfare is close for groceries, etc. Denise is friendly and responsive and finding the place is a straight shot when arriving to Boone. Parking is easy and convenient to right into the cottage. Everything you need is in the house and spotless.

Absolutely stunning views. We had everything we needed to stay cozy when the winter storm came. The location is fabulous and very easy to get to the local restaurants. The condo was super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the shuffleboard table while watching the snow fall.

Wow this is a magical place. By far one of the best homes we have ever stayed at. The house itself is whisimical and airy and you cannot beat the blue ridge mountain scenery . Every weather pattern had something to offer by way of views. It was an experience! We can't wait to go back.

Outstanding historic cabin with great views, very well staged and stocked, fabulous walking/hiking trails, dead end road was perfect for Wiley to run free, We will be back

We had a great stay at this condo, Avery was very helpful and communicative and answered any questions I had very quickly. The views were stunning, the area was beautiful, we would definitely love to come again.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Nice house but well maintained. In a gated community which is a plus and access in and out was super easy. In walking distance to an upscale/famous restaurant. In strong proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock with a very quick drive to the Parkway.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.

This was a perfect little getaway for my family to enjoy a weekend together. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
