My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

I felt like I was staying in a home away from home. I left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. My husband and I were looking specifically for a beautiful home with a cabin feel right next to the creek. It was exactly what we wanted. Our 4 boys enjoyed kayaking and tubing down the creek. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the sound of the water was just so relaxing. I messaged Wendy during our stay about something and she was very quick to respond and help whatever way she could. The only downside was most of the restaurants seemed to be closed on the weekends, which had nothing to do with the beautiful cabin. It was perfect fit for our family of 6.

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

Great place to stay right on the river! Very peaceful and quiet. Location is perfect- downtown Blue Ridge is just a short drive. The kids loved seeing the train go by, and the train doesn’t run during early morning or late night hours! Overall, fantastic place to stay in a great location!

I can't say enough about Lisa's home! It had everything listed and more. The thoughtfulness in the little details made this the best experience we have had with an Airbnb. This home is beautiful and the amenities at the lake were perfect. Our family had a wonderful week and hope to do it again in the future.

My brother and I treated our mom to a weekend getaway to celebrate her 80th birthday. The “Flying Squirrel” was perfect! Great floor plan, beautiful interior design, comfortable beds, and plenty of thoughtful extras! If you’re looking for a true “get-away-from-it-all”….this is it!

The most perfect place for a relaxed and quiet getaway! My husband and I drove up here from Florida for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that we felt right at home. We hardly left the cabin, there was plenty to do right there. Canoeing on the lake with our dog was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect! This was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin itself provided the perfect blend of relaxation and recreation. The location was even better! Centrally located to Ellijay with Blue Ridge right up the road as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the small lake, caught a few bream, sit around the fire pit, and unwound in the hot tub. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature's tranquility while incorporating the sites of nearby scenic towns as well. Already ready to go back!

Our family trip with 4 couples & kids was a great success! From grilling steaks, enjoying the hot tub, and roasting marshmallows over the fire by the river. The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen was well appointed including a full spice rack. The bathrooms were as amazing as the pictures show! We are considering a return trip in the summer & highly recommend this property!

Great hosts… very accommodating! We had a quick stay and spent the second half of our second day there because it was so peaceful and relaxing!! Not far from good food and activities. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us:)

J the host was extremely kind and helpful. The few small issues we had got fixed as quickly as possible and wasn’t a big issue as there was plenty of things to do such as hiking the trails, kayaking. Some of the furniture could be updated since it was broke but overall we had an amazing family vacation.

Jan was very helpful regarding any issues we had. I also discovered the Benton MacKaye hiking trail is only a very short walk from the cabin.

River Zen was a very nice spot for us to spend time away for our anniversary. The river was peaceful and the cabin was clean. The kitchen was stocked well for me to cook a few meals. The bed was comfy and I liked reading the books that were in the sitting room. We watched the baby ducks while we ate breakfast. I will say that Googles GPS was incorrect after we crossed the bridge coming in but all in all we had a great time!

Beautiful piece of property overlooking creek. Great cabin with anything you could need. Host readily available. Looking forward to coming back!
