Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

Right on the New River. Also serves as an access point for others to launch rafts and boats. CSX train runs right outside at all hours, however, so be aware that you may lose some sleep. Bring bottled water for coffee and drinking.

Kathleen place is very nice. My Family and I enjoy the home and the beach. I can't speak for the restaurants in the area because we mostly cooked, oh Big Daddys has nice fish tacos. The seafood markets are very reasonable. The elevator was definitely a plus. The bikes and all the amenities I mean you don't need to bring anything like chairs or beach items, Kathleen has it all. Beds where comfortable. We just loved the house. Kure Island is not a place I would return too not that I had issues from anyone it just to far from the Airport. All and All Kathleen was very responsive to anything if needed. Thank you again Kathleen for EVERYTHING😃 Ms. Taylor

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! This was my second time to stay at Pilot Cove this year and I will be back. The cabins are conveniently located and have everything you need. The minimal design is appealing as well. Great place to stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wren House in Afton, Virginia, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled amidst nature, this retreat offered privacy and breathtaking mountain views. The hot tub was a delightful addition, perfect for unwinding after a day of tubing at Wintergreen Resort. The spacious layout made it ideal for our family gathering, providing both comfort and tranquility. I highly recommend Wren House for anyone seeking a serene getaway in a picturesque setting.

We loved our time at Arun’s place! He was always incredibly responsive and quick to turnaround any request. Definitely a great place to stay for a larger group!

What a great experience! The location is secluded enough for the privacy we wanted, yet near plenty of enjoyable towns and establishments. It was really convenient for us to be about 40 mins from Charlottesville and 50 mins from Staunton. Andrew's cabin is really spacious without losing its coziness. It's rare to find an Airbnb that's stocked with everything you need, and this place checked all of the boxes for us. We never wanted to leave, which is always a good sign. For that reason, we will be back!

This is an excellent place for a getaway vacation. It is very peaceful with an amazing view! We had a great time kayaking on the lake, going into the Uwharrie Forest, and visiting the zoo while we stayed in Asheboro. The neighborhood is a great place to walk. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. It was a memorable vacation.

The home was lovely decorated, which gave it a homey feeling. The back porch was amazing experience... large table for when our family visited, comfortable seating, screened porch, fun lighting, ceiling fans. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of drawer space for our clothes. The kitchen was adequate. The purple irises bloomed while we were there... gorgeous!! TV worked great... lots of channels and apps. The backyard was very roomy and had a great firepit.

We wanted to check out Clemson University for our daughter and have a holiday getaway for our family of 4. This place was perfect! The interior of the house is very fresh & nice…exactly what you see in the photos. Since we were there in the winter & the weather wasn’t great, we didn’t get to hang out outside as much as we had hoped, but we did sit out under the covered part of the deck when it was raining & walk around a bit when it wasn’t. Beautiful property! The dock is great and that huge side deck & the outdoor kitchen are amazing! If our daughter ends up attending Clemson in a couple years, this will absolutely be our first choice to stay when we visit. Even if she doesn’t, we would love to come back in the summer to everything this place has to offer!

We love Massanutten where this home is located mainly because we have family who live there. We usually stay with family but opted for our own space. It was a great choice. This was my first Air BnB experience and it was better than I could have imagined. Beautiful, clean home with all the basics provided in the bath, kitchen, and bedrooms. Responsive, friendly hosts. Comfortable and inviting living areas. Beautiful scenery- we loved watching deer right outside our window. The other guests staying with us were all impressed as well. Will definitely book again!

We had a great time! We were a family of 6 (4 adults & 2 kids), and there were plenty of space for all of us. Enough bathrooms to give everyone privacy. The house was very well thought out. Everything you need is already there. Very clean and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Beach is a short drive as well as everything else (grocery store, restaurant, boardwalk, etc). Hostesses are very responsive and welcoming. I would stay here again the next time we come to Carolina Beach.

As this was a spontaneous trip for my husband and I, we got lucky to have found it on the app. Someone had cancelled as explained and we booked in the nick of time. Rebecca was beyond friendly and an amazing host. It felt like home away from home. The place is just the most perfect place to reset and ground yourself. Peaceful and quiet. My husband and I are already making plans as this will be our go to for us when we want some peace and quiet in our chaotic life. Rebecca thank you so much! We truly appreciated your place! We had a wonderful stay at Mariner’s Landing. It is a nice community with lots of amenities when in season. We enjoyed walking down to the beach at the lake for swimming. This is a ground level unit so you can walk out the back straight to the lake. It was very peaceful and homey. There were board games and coloring books for kids. The unit was very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice for there to be body wash and shampoo and more laundry detergent as it is out of town about 15 minutes. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. As a family with young kids, the pros include access to the beach, community clubhouse with pool (indoor all year and outdoor during the summer), coloring books and games in the unit, and bunkbed setup. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home.

Thank you Denise for sharing your wonderful condo with my family. We enjoyed each day of our stay. The pictures on airbnb doesn't do it justice. Like another reviewer stated, I'm hesitate to say too much about how nice the place is do to more bookings. I can see my family returning here often.

Staying at Gladys' beach house was absolutely lovely. It didn’t feel like an Airbnb—it felt like home. Even the house rules made us feel more like welcomed guests than renters. The space was warm, comfortable, and just 3 minutes from the beach. We can’t wait to come back!
