THIS CABIN IS NOT FOR EVERYONE-it's extremely rustic. NO WIFI/NO WASHER-DRYER/NO MICROWAVE/NO CABLE. Only heat source is woodstove. 1940 Cabin, originally bunkhouse for lumber mill. At 6500 feet in the tall trees of Sequoia National Forest. Near Kern river(rafting, fishing), hot springs, Trail of the Giants. Alta Sierra is dense neighborhood of cabins with neighbors close by. TWO GUESTS ONLY, NO PARTIES, NO PETS! Only 1 bar cell svs-plus record player/TV/videos/books/games. Heavy snow possible!

Welcome to your home base for mountain adventures! ~800 square feet of colorful, mid-60’s A-frame. Enter into a double-height living room with exposed wood ceiling, open king-bed sleeping loft above and fully-stocked kitchenette below. There is a second bedroom and bathroom on the ground level. Your hosts are vintage sci-fi fans and artists, with influences and work throughout the place. Bluebird Cottage Spectacular lake views

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

Columbus Blue:A Rustic Mid-Century Modern Bungalow

Welcome to Columbus Blue! This rustic bungalow was built during the Kern County mid-century modern architectural boom of the 1960's, with the most well known being the Frank Lloyd Wright Albin Residence in Bakersfield. Design-wise, this translated into homes that emphasized geometrical forms, angular features, and large windows to help bring the outdoors inside. Located only 10 minutes to Miracle Hot Springs and the Kern River, come enjoy the serenity this architectural marvel has to offer!

Spacious studio apartment with kitchenette

Come enjoy mountain living without sacrificing comfort. With the lake just a few minutes drive away, water activities are abundant. Kernville is a short drive away offering activities including white water rafting, fly fishing, kayaking and more! You’ll love the quiet area away from the crowds yet close to shopping. Please note: This unit is a kitchenette so there is no stove. We have recently added a futon for an extra sleeping area. It is most comfortable for one but can sleep two people.
