This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Perched over Whitman Lake, escape with a cold beverage on your large deck that makes you feel "within the trees." Surrounded by old growth cedars, watch as the resident bald eagles take turns diving into the lake for their lunchtime snack. Walk down the railroad tie stairs and through our "naturally" landscaped yard to find your private dock with a kayak that is free for guests. Whitman Lake is just ~45 min south of Tacoma and ~45 min north of MRNP... a perfect home base for your adventures.

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

The home is in a great location within this quaint small town, only a few minutes from the shopping and restaurants downtown and just down the road from Pinnacle Peak (local-favorite trail). Enumclaw is centrally located between Crystal Mountain, Mount Rainier, Snoqualmie, and Downtown Seattle (or Tacoma) and is near Muckleshoot Casino and White River Amphitheatre - Lots of options for all types of PNW fun!!

The suite is below the main residence and has its own private entry & self check in. The lake suite will sleep up to 4 guests. Suite Includes 1 bedroom, living room with a queen sofa bed, dining room, kitchen, patio w/gas grill. Wander down to the lake for a dip or sit back and enjoy the sunset!

Please note: We do a thorough cleaning and finish off with wiping down all surfaces likely touched with 99.9% disinfectant. A Serene getaway on lake front property that is a quadraplex. This is my personal home with 4 distinct and complete units. I live in a lower unit. There is a BBQ, cozy wood burning insert and a major close-up display of God's handiwork. Downtown Seattle is 26 miles away (times very). Snoqualmie skiing is 50 mins away & Crystal Mountain is 69 mins away.

Welcome to Gilbert's Cottage! Be our guest for a night or stay longer if you want access to the greater PNW. Our home sits on an acre in the farmland of the Puyallup valley. Check out downtown Sumner or Puyallup main street for boutiques, cafés, pubs, and local breweries. Short drive to the waterfront, grocery stores, farm stands, Washington state fairgrounds and hospitals. Bring your pet to keep you company. Room to park a smaller trailer if needed.
