Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Privately owned small cottage next to the Atlantic Ocean with great view over the mountains. A Perfect location to see the Northern Lights during the wintertime (if conditions are optimal). The place is just outside Town of Borganes (7-8 km) where you can find a discount store. Interesting places nearby are Langjökull, Barnafossar, Deildartunguhver (hot spring) and Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Also short drive to Reykjavik (80 km) and Golden Circle (100 km).
