Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Grásteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

Laxfoss Luxury Lodge | Waterfall Lodge

Enjoy majestic views overlooking the waterfall, with mount Baula towering over the Norðurá-valley to the North and the Skarðsheiði mountain range to the South. Welcome to our house! On the ground floor of our house, we've renovated a small private studio apartment, approximately 25sq.m., perfect for solo or duo travelers. Located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, it's only a short 5-minute drive to Reykjavik city center and only a 2-minute walk to the next bus stop. With amenities like free wifi, a washing machine, a small kitchen, and a Nespresso coffee maker, you'll experience Iceland while staying like a local in a central suburban area.

Wooden, warm house for six people. Perfectly integrated into the lava field at the foot of the extinct GRABROK volcano, which you can enter almost straight from home :). Beautiful views and silence. Only the sounds of nature can be heard. An ideal place to observe the northern lights (no city lights). Just 300 meters from the main road No. 1. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfectly clean drinking water flows from the tap. The jacuzzi is already working :) There are bubbles and it's nice :) !!!

Lundur is a Modern and comfortable cottage with a main house and a guest house and a hot tub. Houses up to 10 people in 4 comfortable bedrooms with comfortable beds. 2 Full bathrooms, one in the main house and one in the guest house. The cabin is located close to Snæfellsjökull National Park and only about 15 min drive from Borgarnes town. Nature all around, Fabulous Mountain and Lake view. The perfect base to explore the West, very relaxing environment, perfect getaway from the city!

Aurora Horizon Retreat

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

The Shed, country atmosphere

The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

Esjuberg Farm-Sleep with horses & mountain hike

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.

Stóra-Vatnshorn

Stóra-Vatnshorn is a family owned working farm with sheep, horses, dog and a cat and rental of cottages and our "Old farmhouse". Rural, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The Old farmhouse, built in 1936 is 150m2 with5 bedrooms (all different in size an shape) and sleeps easily 6 people. Fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining area. WC, shower and heating. Washer & dryer for clothes. TV & free Wifi .

Restored private home by the Harbour W/ hottub

A fully restored 2 story house built in 1938, right in the center of Stykkisholmur´s beautiful old Town. The house has a great view over the harbour and Breiðafjörður bay. In the back there is a sheltered deck with seating, a barbecue and a large Hot tub. It is a short walking distance from the port, town pool and all of the great restaurants.
