What a find! We were in market town of Helmsley (15min drive away) for spa day for partners big birthday & know Howardian Hills area well ie nearby Coxwold / Ampleforth. Not many Airbnb around area & last min getaway so plumped for this. Loved cosy cottage with massive king bed, fresh linen, lovely sunny patio doors looking onto private bit of lawned slope. Well equipped kitchen for bit of self catering. Fab to have use pool, hot tub, tennis courts, putting, small gym room, although we didn’t use as short stay. Most of all we were enchanted by magnificent grand grounds / garden you can wander freely - magnolia tree in bloom, high hedges, Georgian folly, woodland paths, a brook lined with wild garlic / primrose, little bridges, more sun loungers across the stream. Had this idyllic sunny April weather too. Only big improvement would be to get comfier sofa & armchair as had too firm cushions and was v hard to relax in them for long. Thanks lovely hidden North Yorks getaway!

Steve was absolutely fantastic—genuinely kind, incredibly helpful, and wonderfully flexible. He went out of his way to accommodate every request. Communication was always smooth, clear, and prompt, which made the whole experience feel effortless. We truly appreciate his support and highly recommend him!

Would 1000 percent recommend if you want to just chill or a romantic breakaway , absolutely spotless , we got a anniversary package and it was stunning , so pleased amazing for the price , amazing host , very friendly and helpful , jaccuzi with the tv amazing touch, and the sauna amazing ! Had the best night away will definitely be back

Absolutely loved our stay, the rooms were clean and crisp, it was like brand new! Loved the tea and coffee complementaries! Shaz was amazing very friendly! Recommended places to eat showed us round and made us feel comfortable and relaxed! We will be booking again and definitely recommend. We have already recommended to family and friends

Unreal stay, was dubious before we walked in however stay was fantastic. Not one complaint about anything, defo will be returning. Thanks again!!.

A great find! Excellent apartment, comfortable, quiet and homely. Went for a swim and spa pool in the morning. Great facilities and spotlessly clean. Thirsk is only 4 miles away and had lots of good bars and restaurants to choose from. The accommodation made our weekend break even more special, and we'd definitely be back.

incredible place and beautiful peaceful surroundings really amazing relaxing couple of days with my partner before I get stationed away again. immaculate and bed was amazing softest bed I've ever slept in will definitely be returning and any questions answered very quickly if you are looking at this place please don't hesitate to book you won't be disappointed. thank you very much for letting me stay

Bobsy was a great host, super friendly and informative, he gave us several recommendations for take away places nearby. Bobsy also decorated our room for us as a surprise for my wife's birthday which went down brilliantly with my wife, she loved it! The apartment was stunning throughout and smelt absolutely amazing. The jacuzzi bath was incredible! We would definitely recommend to our family and friends.

Beautiful home and very responsive host we had a great time however there is a £400 charge for cleaning and I fail to see how that was applied. You are expected to look after animals which was a bonus for our family but can see would be an inconvenience for some especially as there are no railings where chickens situated so not safe or easily got to. Lots of steps so any elderly relatives may struggle a bit but have completed fallen in love with Yorkshire place and people were fabulous!

The house was in a beautiful location for our stay and we enjoyed the added luxury of the hot tub and sauna. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. Gargrave is a lovely spot offering great access.
