Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

The Little House in the Oaks-Natural Swimming Pool

Modeled after the 1970s series “Little House on the Prairie,” the house is nestled in the oak grove on 32 acres of land. Features of the house include a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, a clawfoot tub that looks out into the oaks, and a private outdoor eating area. The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

That being said, if you're feeling more exploratory, there are many options within a short drive including hiking, wine tasting, horseback riding, fishing, and even sky-diving.

This is a mountain retreat with amazing views located just two miles from downtown Julian. Come enjoy a stay in a one bedroom, 1 &1/2 bath with over 1200 modernized square feet of space. Sit on the deck to see the amazing views including surreal moon rises and sunrises. The view starts at the edge of Julian and goes as far as the Salton Sea on clear days.
