My family had a blast and would 1000% return! The dock was a little scary to walk on (especially for kids) as there are loose, weak, or not fully attached boards but we were still able to catch plenty of crabs and fish off the dock. Host was extremely communicative, extremely easy to work with and very accommodating.

I highly recommend John's place for your next stay. The spacious, fenced-in yard and well-equipped, generously sized home exceeded our expectations. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring a comfortable stay for our family with no complaints. The view was incredible with the beach just steps away, and we cannot wait to return!

We had a great weekend stay! The house was just as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owner was quick to respond to messages. Our dogs had an amazing time running around the property and even chasing deer! The pool was perfect, and the view from the patio overlooking the river was beautiful—we even saw a white cow across the water. The bed was very comfortable, and the sound system was nice, though a bit technical to set up. Pool cleaners came by one morning, did a quick job, and left. One thing to note: there were some wasps and nests around the house, but we found a spray can and handled it. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay—and our dogs had a blast!

We had a great time at Sea n Stars. The views of the ocean and ICW were awesome! The tide was too high to access the beach at the property during our stay so Susan recommended that we take a very short drive to a beach area where we were able to hunt for abundant shells. We also spent time on their dock, fishing and crabbing. We had good success with catching crab which contributed to a delicious meal. Everything we could have needed was available to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

We had a phenomenal stay at Jesse’s home. The home is recently remodeled, very clean, close to plenty of restaurants, Kemah Boardwalk and Houston. It’s a very private, peaceful location. We had a situation arise the day we were to fly out and Jesse stepped in and helped us on a moments’ notice. He is truly a remarkable host and person. We can’t thank him enough. We will certainly return!

We had a great stay at Casa Surfside. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Quality appliances and kitchenware that made cooking easy. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Comfy furniture. Loved all the beach gear and toys for the kids! The location was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here!

Hosts Rachel and Jesse were amazing. We loved how they decorated their place, inside and out. It’s very unique, and a very clean and fresh look. They were kind to drop off additional kayaks and a fishing pole for the little ones. We loved that they allowed pets. Their home was within walking distance to a playground that my nephew enjoyed, close to historic and quaint League City shops and restaurants (check out Rustika Cafe and bakery, they have amazing customer service and it’s right next to Book Haven, a neat little book shop). It’s also within driving distance to Clear Lake which has some great fishing and Clear Creek for kayaking.

House seemed brand new. Perfect location, Alejandro was very friendly and extremely responsive. We had a blast and house was just beautiful. We would certainly come back. Highly recommended. Just to clarify, house has a brand new large blackstone griddle. Does not have a grill but that was no problem for us. Just mentioning for those grillers out there. Cannot go wrong with this house. Thank you Alejandro for hosting us. 5 Stars!
