Jess’ home was wonderful. My wife and I stayed there and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The home was in immaculate condition, the bed was comfortable, and the area is so cute and quiet. The area felt safe and walkable to places to eat. Thank you for hosting us, I hope we can come back!

Super cute little spot. Walking distance to Sonoma Plaza and it had a private hot tub. Good distance from some vineyards and wineries as well!

This was such a wonderful stay! A gorgeous, cozy and tranquil space in a prime location. Loved the bamboo spa and the beautiful patio!

This was our second stay here. Our daughter's family lives in the neighborhood and this is the perfect location for us to stay while visiting. It is quiet, comfortable and just what we need. The yard is very cute and we love to look at the animals with our grandchildren. We lucked out and saw the planets aligned from the driveway on the 25th, as it is dark enough to view the stars without city lights. Don and Lori are great hosts- there are treats and fresh eggs in the fridge, and everything we needed was right there. We will be back.

A gorgeous and magical oasis! I loved the hot tub, and having a parking spot was amazing. Spacious and well decorated on the inside. Truly a treat to stay here and I would stay again.

Mara is very friendly and considerate. She provided everything my dog and I need during the full month of stay. The house rules are clear and fair, which elevates the whole experience and simplifies communication needs. The view is fantastic in the garden. You can enjoy a very nice sauna in the early morning while overlooking the valley and listening to birds chirping. The whole experience is a good combination of natural connection, self reflection, easy access to school and city, plus safe and friendly living environment provided by Mara. Will definitely want to be here longer.

Great space and beautiful property! About mile to Sonoma Square, easy walk and bikes were available too. Nice big shower and stylish accommodations. The hot tub was a nice perk! Loved our time visiting the area! We got coffee and quiche every morning from Basque. Capo Isetta was a great tasting room right in the square. Cheers!

We loved staying at the Dipsea Cottage. It’s a beautiful, calming, and comfortable space. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, playground, and shops. We look forward to coming back here again!

My second stay here and it does not disappoint. This place is quiet and secluded but near anything you might want to jaunt to in either Lodi or Stockton. My trip was for relaxation, sleep, and just personal downtime. There is some freeway noise, but only if you are outside. Inside, quiet as a mouse. On this trip, the lights in the kitchen were out. Gary was prompt to respond, came to fix them (a darn breaker flipped) which took no time at all, and was extremely aware and respectful of me in the space. Top notch service, in deed. I camped in front of the fireplace my entire stay. I picked up groceries from Raleys in Stockton, and was able to cook all my meals and dined with the very pretty stoneware that nicely matches the cottage vibe. I did not go outside much as this was a peace-and-quiet kind of trip, but the yards (front and back) are quite inviting. Even a stroll in the vineyard is nice. Highly recommend!

If you want a cute cottage near the square, this is a great option! This home is perfectly located only a few blocks from the main square for easy walking in and out of town. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend in Sonoma, including umbrellas that came in handy!

Overall we had a good stay at Susan’s rental. She was very nice and communicative. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Large refrigerator. Regular drip coffee pot. Very close to downtown Mill Valley so you can walk into town easily. There seemed to be a few other renters on this property, and our rental was the very back unit. The walkway down the length of the front house was a bit tight, with 2 gates. It was farther than we expected to load/unload bags. Just a heads up - Parking was a bit tricky because this property is on the main avenue (Blithedale).

We loved our stay at the Bluebird Cottage. The cottage is beautifully maintained and very clean. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful art and collected pieces in each room. Every window had a different view of the trees and foliage surrounding us, creating a serene and private setting. Minie was an amazing host. We received clear instructions, local guides, and amenities that made us feel right at home. Tips for future travelers: -The tandem driveway has a steep rise in the middle, with the potential to scrape the bottom of the car when parking. We parked just below the bump and that was fine. -For cold weather, we found the wall unit by the front door didn’t heat the room much. The wall heaters worked great. For the bedroom wall heater to work the light switch closest to the bedroom closet needs to be turned on.

My stay at the cozy cottage was very pleasant. Everything was clean and ready for my arrival. I was there for over a month and had very few issues. Andy was very responsive with the few concerns I had.

Another lovely stay at Sabine’s unit. I love the kitchen and being able to resume my routines in that space. Likewise, for sleeping. I sleep well there. It is very quiet at night. The air is fresh. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is a family neighborhood with children everywhere! Very safe! I sleep with windows open every night. It is very restful and very quiet. There is no trouble and the community is friendly.

Great central location with lots of places to walk to. I grew up in Castro Valley but haven’t been back in many years. We stayed with our twin 5 year olds and there is a play place that is nearby. Katherine was very communicative and flexible with check in. There was a housekeeping issue and Katherine addressed this issue immediately. We couldn’t get the shower head in the master bath to work correctly but the guest bath shower worked just fine with good pressure. We were disappointed it rained while we were there because we didn’t get to use the backyard. It looked very inviting with the BBQ and fire pit. The dining table was great as we had my senior parents over for dinner and everyone fit comfortably. The home is beautifully decorated

Second stay, and I would love to stay a third time.

We loved staying at Sean and Jen’s cottage! It was located in a parklike setting with beautiful tress surrounding the property which made it very peaceful. We really appreciated the recommendations for local restaurants which were found in a notebook upon entry of the cottage. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the hosts for making it so warm and welcoming!

Our cottage and the surrounding neighborhood provided a vantage point for some of the best views in the city. Inside, we had every accommodation that we could want. Our hosts were gracious and responsive, and made us feel welcomed from the moment of our arrival. We highly recommend Trixie’s cottage.

This is a great place to stay in the bay! This reminds me of how are bnb was before it became really corporate. Her space was really charming and there were a lot of extras like food and blankets.

It's absolutely magical space for a peaceful personal retreat. Just amazing surroundings with beautiful views from the house and the yard, park with century-old trees just a few minutes walk away and beautiful walking paths. Something that I really needed for a recovery after a long business trip.

En provided very helpful instructions to unlock and lock the gate. The cottage was private and a good size for two people. Having parking available in the driveway was appreciated!

I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay, and interfacing with Tom. The place was clean, tranquil, and well appointed. Tom was responsive, flexible, and kind. To top it off, their two chickens were the quietest, cutest little beings to be adjacent to and were welcome companions on the property. It was such an oasis, comfortable bed, great desk, and could hear the creek just below the window. Will definitely return.

It felt like Marcy and I spent time together, but we did not see each other during the length of the stay. Her correspondence via text was prompt and engaging. I was having challenges with the access on my phone and she rolled with things smoothly.

Very cute cottage in Atherton. Worked well for me and my colleague. We were able to park our car onsite. The area is very safe and quiet. You are within a few minutes from Stanford, downtown Palo Alto and Sandhill Road. David was very communicative, texting with specific directions and responding to questions throughout our stay. There were several bugs in the cottage (a few, random ants and a handful of spiders).
