Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse. Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road.

The Boca de la Roca cabin is built on 81 acres of private desert mountain property (no neighbors, no highways, no noise), and is nestled at the base of our 4,700-foot mountain - in the most majestic mountain range in Big Bend. The cabin is surrounded by mountains, large mesas, cacti, and other eye-catching desert scenery. All of Big Bend is beautiful, but we undoubtedly have the best 360-degree views of anywhere in Big Bend - hands down. *we unfortunately don't rent to guests below 30 years old*

Experience sunrises, sunsets and silence! No tv! An authentic, one room, earthen “cob house” on 300 private acres, totally off grid, solar powered, with rainwater catchment. Hot outdoor showers under the stars, rock patios, gas stove, mini fridge, king size bed, covered parking, WiFi, fire pit and Tootsie the turtle lives here too! Linens, kitchen utensils and towels provided. Only 30 minutes to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost town, 20 min to Terlingua Ranch Pool and Bad Rabbit Cafe.

Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Sunset Ranch is an acre lot at the far southeast corner of Marathon, TX that backs up to the ranch land facing south that provides unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets from the 700 sf covered porch. Marathon is a quaint west Texas town with a public park, gardens, restaurants and shopping. It also has a level 1 night sky rating for star gazing. Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.

Off Grid Earth Bag Home

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

Built by miners a hundred years ago, the cabin has been comfortably updated while keeping its authentic feel. Its spacious porch affords the best view of the mountains of Big Bend National Park as well as the stars at night. Although it has an indoor bedroom and bathroom, guests love the outdoor shower as well as the open air bed on the patio.
