We stayed at Hedgehog chalet with our 2 children as a base to explore a bit of Suffolk. The Chalet was easy to find, plenty of parking and easy to access. Beautifully presented, fresh and clean , the kitchen was well equipped for our needs and the crisp white bed linen and towels were lovely ! There is a nice courtyard garden space too. Rachel left an informative welcome guide to the local area , attractions and restaurants which we found very useful. This was the perfect space for our weekend break and would highly recommend for a small family.

Excellent in all aspects, providing everything we desired for our short stay weekend meeting with friends which had been prevented by original lockdown by Covid which was enjoyed by all.

Everything as described is accurate and the parking space is an added bonus. Stuart was helpful and replied very quickly to a couple of pre arrival questions we had. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Chrissy was a wonderful host and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this wonderful property and host. It was incredibly well equipped and even included milk, coffee, biscuits and pastries. I will happily return and look forward to it.

Staying here has been a true pleasure and brought me a sense of peace. This flat is a real gem - beautifully arranged and exceptionally well-appointed. It had everything I needed and more. Matt was a great host and very responsive. The house was a great location, close to Colchester and our wedding venue in Feering. Rooms were spacious, great communal area, kitchen and living room. All utensils provided. Would highly recommend

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

Wir haben zwei sehr angenehme Nächte in Bruce toller Unterkunft verbracht und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Bruce ist sehr nett und freundlich, das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und sehr zu empfehlen.

I know the surrounding area as my family lived nearby some years ago and I visited as a child. The hiuse was as described, beautifulky decorated and clean and was well equipped and supplied for our stay. The local pub the Victory is great and so is the chippy Yates' is excellent. Our children enjoyed the pier too. Our firends were keen tonlook round as they wanted to stay in the future but the house is fully booked ! Thanks and we may be back in the future.

kleines nettes Haus , innen sehr nett und liebevoll, mehr als der äußere Eindruck verspricht...nahe zum Strand mit Parkmöglichkeit. Den kleinen Garten konnten wir wegen dem Wetter leider nicht nutzen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber

Had a great stay at Katy’s space. Everything was clean, comfortable and matched the description and we enjoyed the goodies Katy stocked the kitchen with to get us going! Great location - very close to everything we needed. If I was ever in Walton or Essex again would be happy to stay again. Communicating with Katy was very easy and she was happy to help with any questions!

We had a great time🙂! Joanne is a great host and it was easy to reach her for couple of things we needed to know. House is in a great spot. The flat was spotless clean and a great sunlight in the flat was delightful. Had everything we needed. The flat is close to the town centre and the beach. We would come back again. Thank you Joanne.
