I had the best time. Ray, Tracy and their family made me feel like one of the family. They even invited me to have a drink with them all. I felt like I had known them for years. They were all so friendly and so helpful. Ray even came in the car to show me where the train station was to pick up my daughter. Tracey took me to show me where the other local train station was. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is as you see on the listing. I am pretty fussy using other peoples bathrooms but it was my favourite room. So sweet and calming. I spent the warm evening sitting in the garden with the adorable Louie reading. The whole vibe of the neighbourhood was very relaxing.

Alison is a fantastic host, communication was very good and very responsive, key pick up was easy. The accomodation is excellent, with a very comfortable bed and excellent ensuite with a piping hot shower and heated towel rail which is great for the colder months. My stay was for three weeks, during that time bedding and towels were changed regularly. Breakfast was really good when I required it. I frequently visit Lewes and will definitely be staying at one of Alison’s properties again in the future.

Daphne was a wonderful host that was very welcoming. Her home was lovely, nice rooms with comfortable linen on the beds and a large bathroom. Her homemade healthy breakfasts were delicious. It was really impressive to know her ingredients came from her garden. The garden itself, absolutely gorgeous! She has the sweetest two dogs, Saph & Topaz. Very well behaved & trained. My mom loved them. Thank you Daphne for allowing us to stay in your home.

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at Jules' air b&b! I booked last minute and Jules and her husband were very accommodating. The room itself is beautifully decorated and is flooded with natural light, creating a very inviting atmosphere. The bed is insanely comfortable and I slept very peacefully. The highlight was taking a relaxing bath- Jules even provided some lovely candles, it felt like a retreat! They also have two adorable dogs that add to the homely feel of the place. Jules provides a lovely array of breakfast items for you to enjoy at your convenience. Location is ideal- 5 mins walk from the sea via a great cafe. All in all it was a lovely stay, Jules and her husband are wonderful hosts :)

I cannot fault anything during my stay. Exactly as described and pictured. Ron gave a helpful suggestion for where to eat in the evening. I think I paid over the odds slightly but this was because it was the Brighton Marathon weekend and the reason for my visit. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Jill was a fantastic host, so friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was super cosy and spotless and the house was lovely and full of charm. We didn’t manage to explore the immediate surroundings but it was very beautiful on our way to Brighton. Thanks Again Ben

Abbiamo dormito 2 notti per poter assistere al Bonfire di Lewes e ci siamo trovati divinamente. Per prima cosa Jane e di una gentilezza incredibile, sia prima di arrivare che durante il soggiorno. Ci ha dato tante informazioni per il Bonfire. La casa si trova in una posizione perfetta perché in centro al paese ma in una via esterna, così da essere sia una zona tranquilla che in centro. La casa è lo stile che noi amiamo, accogliente. Al piano terra c’è la sala e la cucina. Mentre al piano superiore c’è la camera, con il bagno esterno condiviso, diviso in 2 stanza (una per io wc e l’altra per la vasca/doccia). Concludiamo dicendo che anche la colazione era perfetta: fette di pane con marmellata, te e tanto altro. Se si vuole alloggiare a Lewes, questo è il posto giusto con la persona giusta (e anche il suo carinissimo gatto).

Perfect place to stay for the Brighton Marathon. The accommodation was very clean, spacious, comfortable and peaceful. Easy access into Brighton, host very helpful.

Natalie was an amazing host and has a stunning property. The room was immaculate and is decorated beautifully. Natalie went above and beyond to accommodate us during the marathon weekend. The property is in a perfect location for visiting Brighton. Thanks again Natalie for an amazing stay and being such a welcoming host! We will definitely be back!!

Thankyou for allowing our last minute request. We both had a lovely stay. Plus being able to park outside the property considering the restrictions in Brighton was a definite bonus. Would definitely stay again.

This is a really lovely place. There doesn't seem to be anything that Janet hasn't thought of. All the extras - especially the breakfast provisions - were very welcome. Not to mention the access to free parking, which is like gold dust in Brighton. Highly recommended.

Daniel is an extraordinary host. He’s not just super friendly and welcoming, but also renovated this whole place with his bare hands ;) One really can tell - so much love for the little details, and such a good vibe. I absolutely enjoyed staying here for a week. If you’re doing home office, you will love the proper office chair in room 5. It is a 15min bus ride to Brighton center, or less into Hove, if you feel adventurous. Just around the corner is an incredible Indian restaurant (Dosa kingdom) that you should definitely try! A lovely one night stay in Janet's lovely home. Made very welcome by Janet who was very friendly and easy to get along with. The accommodation was perfect for us and was very clean and fresh. It was extremely quiet and we slept well. We were given a lovely continental breakfast in the morning which was great. Car parking was right outside the front door and very safe and secure. All in all a lovely visit and thank you Janet for your hospitality!

This was booked for a works appointment but the flat was absolutely substantial for what we needed. Clean, well equipped, instructions and communication from Isabela was excellent. If you need a reasonable place to stay close to Brighton then I would definitely recommend.

Trish has been a great host, the house was spotless and she has provided so many little extra's that you just do not normally get. I will defiantly look to stay again when back working in the area.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.

What can I say other than wow. This beautiful Airbnb is incredibly peaceful, in a gorgeous location and perfectly presented. Sarah is one of the best hosts I have had, not only was she incredibly friendly, helpful but she went out of her way to make me feel right at home and offered a delicious breakfast in the mornings too. I wish I could rate this Airbnb higher than 5 stars because its worth double that. I will definitely be back in the future.

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆

Perfect place for overnight stay on way back to gatwick. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Continental brekky with fresh fruit hit the spot. Claire was prompt with messages and greeted us on arrival. The nearby pub, recommended by Claire, served quality meals. Highly recommend Claires place.
