Gail’s house was brilliant. Very tranquil and in a peaceful location, and the wildlife was fab. The house was huge and contained everything you might need for a fun weekend away!

I'm finding it difficult to put into words what being a guest at Cantick Head was like. Magical, inspiring, cozy, peaceful, safe. The cottage is beyond charming. It was tastefully decorated with little bits of history scattered about. It was absolutely spotless clean with comfortable beds and linens that smelled heavenly especially after a day of hiking the nearby trails. A nature and animal lovers paradise. Alan and his family go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. I found the experience to be quite moving and was saddened to leave. Alan is an example of what an outstanding Airbnb operator is and Cantick Head is a top notch accommodation. The price was very reasonable for the experience of being at Cantick Head. Overall, 11 out 10!

Great accommodation, hot tub was excellent and warm. I would say 4 logs then 1 to top up after 50 minutes on a mild day and the water temperature would be perfect. (I think I might get one). Beautiful surroundings and great location for Inverness and Loch Ness. There were all the mod cons in the house. We fell in love with ‘Roger’, the automated lawn mower in the garden. We would definitely come again if in the area.

Great place to stay for a night in Inverness. The Culloden battlefield nearby is worth a visit, and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day driving.

We were a group of six including two four-year-old boys and had the most comfortable stay at Alan and Elisha home. The place had all the things that you would need to have a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Comfortable bedrooms, quality toiletry products, a well-stocked kitchen and clean rooms. A beautiful play area for young children, a relaxing deck and hot tub for the adults looking over the play area with a view of the Firth in the distance. What more would one want to chill and relax. If you are into exercise, you could trek up a nearby hill to see the Fyrish Monument. We would stay here again.

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

Our 3 night stay at The Wee Housie was just perfect! The views from the accommodation were amazing and could not of been more stunning . The Wee Housie was comfortable and everything that we needed was there . Jenny was a lovely host and made us welcome from the moment we arrived . Definitely 5Star!

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

Great 3 night stay over a long weekend. Sue was so helpful from as soon as we booked to after we checked out as we had forgotten an item when checking out. Sue met us upon arrival and was very warm and inviting. We were given lots of local tips for the area. The location is stunning with great views and very open and airy feeling! We all felt very at home very quickly. We would 100% look to stay here again and have already recommended this location and this host to a good few people.

We absolutely loved our stay. A very cosy , quiet place that really felt like home to both of us. We didn’t want to leave. The location is in a beautiful place and couple of minutes from an incredible historic harbour with rocky coastline that is stunning, six minutes from Wick which is the main town in the area . Sea birds are all getting to nest on the cliffs and I even saw a humpback whale pod, and missed seeing orca that were sighting many days from the shore. Catherine and her mother are are lovely and we will definitely be back even if not for work as are already missing the north coast .

My booking was at short notice. I was visiting Lossiemouth for a family event. The cottage was just a short drive from where I was visiting family. I know the area, so Gable Cottage was easy to find. The location was terrific, I would have my morning coffee watching two robins and a group of pheasants while serenaded by blackbirds. Everything was there, everything I needed, including much more. I had a wonderful stay, even though it was short.

Lovely few days away very relaxing Charlette was a great host. We hope to go back sometime.

we delayed over Chtistmas. It was a warm and toasty place to snuggle down with family. lovely peaceful environmentment , there's a waterfall nr by, a distillery that offers tours and samples, and a walk to the farm shop for local produce. A longer stretch is the small town of Aberlour resting below with more choices and cafes. loved the good deli. Hot water, comfortable beds, small fire place all added to our wonderful and memorable stay! Thank you Karen, hope to return.

We had a great stay at Inverness at Rodjana & Ann’s place! The flat looks exactly as the pictures and was clean and well-stocked. I initially had some trouble finding the key box but Rodjana & Ann were super responsive and helped me out immediately. When I discovered a broken handle on the washer and lightbulb in one of the lamps, they sent a staff to look into the problem and fixed it the next day. The beds are super comfortable and we had a fun time cooking at the kitchen. The location was also great - we could easily walk to downtown and access train station, shops and restaurants.

Sheila had fantastic communication from the start and was very accommodating of our early arrival. The place is spotless and had everything needed for our stay with a lovely touch of a chocolate for our little one. Sadly we didn't get to sit out on the beautiful decking outside as we were in Elgin for a music festival but it looked lovely. Although you are next to a petrol station, hospital and can see the main road the house was very peaceful and no noise at all. We were a 15/20 minutes walk from where we needed to be, which was perfect as we were able to leave the car parked at Sheilas. Absolutely can't fault anything, great host and will gladly stay again.

Ideally located in Central Forres with all local amenities easily accessed. House is clean, well equipped and great for a couple or lone traveller and is in a quiet pedestrian area just off the High Street.

My partner and I booked Paul's place as a lady minute getaway near Inverness and the Highlands. The location of the flat is stunning with a babbling brook just outside the balcony, surrounded by fields and forest, it was very peaceful. The flat itself was clean and the space was well set out, yes it is a snug little place but the two of us immensely enjoyed the space as it was cozy, not claustrophobic. We explored the nearby areas and found beautiful hilly walks, local villages with everything you'd need, and buses near enough everywhere if you wanted to leave the car behind one day. As a host, Paul is efficient and friendly, he responds to any queries quickly and with a solution. Thanks for the delightful stay Paul!

This was a home of dreams! The space was beautiful and the views were gorgeous! It is a little farther out, but if you’re looking for a lovely countryside get away this is the place! Great for large groups too!

The flat was exactly as described, very we'll presented and comfortable. The location is central to the town with all amenities just a short walk away. During our short stay, we visited the Whaligoe Steps, Hill O' Many Stanes, Campster Cairns and John O'Groats. Each of these sites no more than 30mins drive from Wick. Zac's flat is an idea base for visiting local, and for visiting place's that little bit further afield.
