Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. Our stay at the Dingle Run Lodge has been pleasant and definitely worth visiting all seasons. Place and location is very peaceful and has lots of great outdoor activities to explore nearby. Peter is very well communicative and helpful all throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our getaway at Jessica’s place. The cottage was the perfect size for two people, and the hot tub/sauna/cold plunge experience was just what we needed. We also appreciated all the nice touches around the house, like the little chocolates and bottle of wine. There are two bathrooms, a flushing toilet for #1 and a composting toilet for #2. The toilet for #2 is outside but attached to the house, and was much nicer than we anticipated. The owners are also around the property every day to work in their shop/feed their chickens so something to be aware of for privacy. We still felt like it was private because of the fencing that blocks the hot tub area. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

We agree with all the other great reviews of this place. This is an “end of the road” kind of place. No amenities such as pizzas, bars and so on. Instead you get a profound sense of place once you're here. . People who come here aren’t just passing through they’re here to connect with nature and others. We were there during the off season and really enjoyed the peacefulness, canoeing to the waterfall, doing some fishing and sitting on the sunlit porch overlooking the bay. The hosts of this airbnb , Darrnel and Mike, give it character. They were very genuine and thoughtful in their desire to make sure everything was going well and to ensure that we were having a good time. We can't thank them enough for making our time there so memorable. A big thank you to both of you.
