This is a great place especially for a large group. 5 great sized bedrooms all with Q or King beds. Host goes out of her way to help with any needs. Seems newly renovated because so clean!! Would highly recommend

We recommend for anyone! There were 6 of us (3 couples). The hosts were extremely accommodating and lovely to speak to. I booked this trip for my husbands birthday and he loved it. We tackle the bourbon trail and this location was perfect to near distilleries.

Did the bourbon trail with friends/family. Perfect location as we spent time in all of Lebanon, Loretto, Louisville, Bardstown, and Frankfurt areas, all of which are within about 45 minutes of the house. There are several distilleries within 15 minutes of the house. Downtown Bardstown is a neat little town and is less than 10 minutes away. Melissa was awesome. Open communication all along the way and was flexible enough that we were able to add a day to the start of our original booking with no problem. House pictures on the listing exactly represent the house. It's a great location if you want to be outside. Big fenced in backyard with sitting area to chill with a beverage. Inside, the house was spotless. Huge open floor plan upstairs. Gameroom downstairs which we didn't even get to use as we were outside each evening. One of the bedrooms has its own coffee machine which was a big hit with my guy who stayed in that room. Overall great bang for buck and highly recommended!

Great location for the Bourbon Trail! We visited for a couples trip over a long weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a fantastic time. The property is conveniently located—perfect for touring distilleries, enjoying dinner in Louisville, and golfing at Heritage Hill in Shepherdsville. It was a wonderful stay overall. The beds had thinner mattresses than we’re used to and were a bit firm for our preference, but that may just be a personal comfort issue. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time at Lisa and Brad’s place! The home was a perfect for our group of six adults, a dog, and a toddler - the pup and toddler loved playing outside! The vibe was so homey, and they had all possible cooking and personal care needs taken care of. They were great at communication, actively reaching out with details that helped make check-in super easy.

The house was in a great location not far from the downtown area, it was very well stocked with most any cooking utensil you might need. The beds were all comfortable.

Super responsive when we needed something. The place was very clean and perfect for our stay during the conference. Highly recommend.

Devin was such a great communicator..before..during and after the the stay! check-in was exactly by the book! unfortunately mother was not on our side during our trip so we didn't get to enjoy the pool and hot tub which was the reason we booked..but it was still a really cozy evening to celebrate our anniversary!

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

safe and secure. one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. the host was very accommodating and communicative. it's kind of noisy. you can hear people walking around upstairs, traffic, and people making noise in the courtyard. also, the parking garage is very tiny, and will have your heart rate heavily increase if you have a bigger vehicle and/or are not an experienced driver so be ready for that.

Everything was great. The only comment is that the description and everything on listing says it's a King size bed. it for sure is only a queen. You can even tell by the pictures that it is only a queen, so my suspicions were right. Luckily, it was just me and my husband but when we travel with our toddler she sleeps in the middle of us and queen bed would not have worked for us.

This location was great in relation to walking to the Corydon Downtown District. I arrived on the the weekend of the Walk and Wine Tour which was awesome. I've never been to Indiana before and this was a great choice for a weekend stay. Cory was very pleasant and helpful. The Den was clean and the amenities added to the experience. Thanks Cory for hosting my family.

I had a wonderful stay with Bethany. She was responsive and understanding of anything I asked. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was clean as well. I appreciate her letting me stay in her air bnb. I would definitely rebook with her.

We have stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back soon. I love the peaceful outside surroundings. The deck and fire pit are my favorites but we explored the wooded area for the first time this visit and it was beautiful! We were there during severe weather and Lee Ann even offered to let us come to their basement if we were worried. I cooked several meals in the cabin and had everything I needed. She even had a coffee grinder for our coffee beans…but if you prefer pre-ground coffee or keurig, she has that too! Seriously love that this place is only 45 minutes from home but is such a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Louisville. Thanks again, Lee Ann! We will see ya soon!

We LOVED our time here. It was perfect. So peaceful. The cabin was so cozy and clean. It was decorated very cute. It had everything we needed. We loved it!! The owners were so nice and responsive. There was a boil water advisory while we were there (due to the floods), and they brought us bottled water. Definitely a place I want to come back to.

Very easy to find, close to the event we were in town for, quiet area, and felt safe during the severe weather that occurred during our stay. Just wish we could’ve had better weather to get to enjoy more of the outdoor space!

Wonderful experience at Boone’s Cabin! Secluded setting in a great location for the Bourbon Festival. Cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sheila was very proactive and even got us in early! Would definitely visit again.

Very spacious with modern/newer appliances and furnishings yet a rustic feel with tongue and groove ceilings. Loved the enclosed sitting areas with skylights and only complaint is we were only there for one night to break up a long trip. Has basic cleaning supplies they have accessible for guests which many places don’t. I manage an Airbnb myself and would recommend this place especially for the price!

This place was so clean, neat, and homey. We loved the quiet, peaceful location. We traveled with our three young children (ages 6, 4, and 1) and felt bad that they were so loud in the evening as we shared a wall with the owner. I'm sure they could hear all the screaming and crying that was going on. I wasn't aware that we would be so close to others as we try to keep our distance with our loud kids to keep from disrupting others. There was a friendly neighborhood cat that my youngest was crazy about! The cat ran righti n the front door and was super affectionate.

The Captains’ Cabin is a cozy and comfortable place to escape one’s routine. Our hosts provided an unexpected welcome tray and had the fireplace ready to light. An amazing, historic home beautifully redone.
