There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Troed-y-Rhiw is a well presented 1 bedroom stone cottage in the former slate mining village of Corris on the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park. Easy access to mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, castles, the coastline & the Mach Loop, Dolgellau is truly the 'gateway to Snowdonia' and this apartment would ideally suit hikers, bikers, history lovers and watersports enthusiasts. Unfortunately, we cannot yet accommodate pets and as we have only one double bed, the accommodation suits adults. As a first floor apartment the stairs may be difficult for some guests.

We have updated the property to give it a fresh comfortable feel but have retained many original features. One of which is the splendid stone fireplace which now houses a log burning stove. The cottage is nestled within the old part of town, located on a quiet street and within a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a small enclosed front patio area.
