Jacks shack was a perfect tiny home retreat for our 2 night stay in the Catlins. It had everything we needed, and a bonus of a lovely walk (Jacks Blowhole) right in its backyard. No TV meant we could really immerse ourselves in the surrounds, and the cozy heater and fire pit were nice. We enjoyed the bubbles, chips and dip! Thanks Ashlee for a great stay.

Great place for a family reunion. Loved that the fire was set and ready to go. Kim was flexible with our checkin and needs. Fully fitted out kitchen and very homely. Great views

We loved staying at Kate’s place in Papatowai. It was the perfect location to explore the Catlins sitting in between Curio Bay (we swam with the dolphins and watched the penguins) and Kaka Point. There are also great walks down to beach from the house. The house itself has beautiful views of the beach and cliffs. The house was spotless and brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed. We thought the house was great value for money. Kate was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and she made lots of recommendations. We loved the Catlans. We have traveled extensively in NZ and this is a hidden gem with literally no crowds. We had some of the most beautiful beaches and walks to ourselves. Def would recommend.

Bull Creek is an absolutely lovely spot. Quiet and remote with lovely bush and beach walks. The neighbours were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Walking in the nearby bush being deafened by the bellbirds a definite highlight. Views from the house of the sea was spectacular and the coastal walks and seeing the seals and lots of birds was another highlight. All of us agreed that we would love to stay again.

We came to Nicky and Kev's place for family reasons. it was perfect for retreating to and relaxing after a busy day with others. Comfy bed, well appointed kitchen and relaxing sofa. Warm and Cosy. what more could you ask for?! Thanks Nicky and Kev.

Was the perfect house to accommodate my son & wife, brother & wife to celebrate my 70th birthday. Everything we needed for drinks in the evening either on verandah or inside And a great kitchen, table, glasses, a variety of different sized serving dishes for sharing both formal & informal meals. Beds very comfortable as were bathrooms.
