It was a great experience. We were looking for a private, remote peaceful location and we got it. There is a lot of space to move around and enjoy the surroundings. Eve left a lot of activities for us to enjoy as a family.

I do not even know where to begin.. absolutely perfect! We are a family of 7 and the space accommodated us perfectly and with more space than we could ever need. Stephen and Christy were incredible hosts. They were responsive, welcoming, kind and gave the best insight to Puerto Rico and where to go/what to do. (Snorkeling under the pier at Crashboat Beach is a must!) The house is everything you could ever dream of. The views are spectacular. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and simply a paradise. The drive up the mountain, while windy and narrow, is worth every turn. It is a breathtaking drive so take your time and take in the views! We will absolutely be back to Utuado and cannot wait to plan our next trip. If you are questioning booking just BOOK THE TRIP! You will not regret it. Stephen and Christy will help you navigate your trip of a lifetime.

El paisaje es realmente increíble, la vegetación, las luciérnagas por la noche… Si te gusta la naturaleza no te vas a arrepentir de pasar la noche en la propiedad de Adam! Instrucciones claras para llegar sin problema aunque el lugar esté aislado y un montón de sitios interesantes que visitar alrededor. Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

My family and I had an incredible stay. The place has AMAZING views. We had a lot of fun in the lake. I would love to stay again soon!

Pasamos un fin de semana increíble en esta casa hermosa. El lugar es perfecto para familias: hicimos barbecue, pescamos, usamos el kayak disponible en la propiedad y hasta preparamos s’mores. Hay muchos juegos y actividades, los niños se divirtieron muchísimo! Sin duda, un lugar al que queremos volver. Gracias Pedro!

My second time at La casa de Abuelo, there is lots of updates since my first stay which is a plus, the cleanliness was to a very high standard. The beds were exceptionally comfy, we all slept very well. The place has everything you need, there’s also an assigned parking spot for the place. Adalberto was super responsive and attentive to our needs. Everything is close by, walking distance to the town plaza and a few great restaurants and Bakeries. Have to check out the cultural center that has some historical Taino Artifacts. A 10 min drive to the Cemi Museum and the Piedra Escrita. Definitely will be back soon.

We had a very pleasant stay and Rosario is an amazing host. She did everything to make us feel welcome and also tried to find a solution for the island-wide electricity blackout.

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Grisel et Pancho. L'appartement possède une grande terrasse avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes et la nature environnante. L'endroit est très tranquille, bercé seulement par le son des animaux. Un véritable coin de paradis! Merci encore pour votre hospitalité. Eileen is an amazing host. She has carefully thought through every detail and made her place a relaxing and welcoming retreat. There home was clean, airy and open with multiple layers of outdoor living space to enjoy. There was a brief situation beyond anyone's control and Eileen was immediately in touch with us about it. She was on the ball and had already coordinated everything - all that we had to do was continue enjoying our stay. The home is exactly as pictured. The heated pool is the temperature of warm bath water and was a welcoming way to start the day. The pool has a shallow end and a deeper end. The shallow end was good for our nine year old and Eileen provides plenty of pool toys for the family. We loved the privacy and falling alseep to the sound of the coqui singing. We have stayed at several places in PR and Eileen's place is the best of them all. We hope to visit again
