We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. Lovely home in our favourite seaside family escape. Enjoyed the pool, snooker table and table tennis. Great added value attributes not often found in the fishing village. Comfortable house and all you need in the kitchen, including two fridge/freezers, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Helpful and responsive hosts. Pet friendly too!

Lovely home with excellent location close to the cliff path, Grotto Beach and Dutchies. Kitchen is very well equipped and caters to a lovely relaxed atmosphere and vibe. We had a great time however struggled with the sun in the mornings in the bedrooms with thin/shear curtains waking us up much earlier than we would’ve liked.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, well equipped and tastefully decorated. High quality and well appointed kitchen. Gorgeous outside area for dining, and a little plunge pool for hot days. The town is walkable and full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house for a wonderful Franshhoek holiday.

Absolutely loved the stay! Close to the beach and the town but still quiet and peaceful. We felt right at home and will definitely book again when traveling to Hermanus.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was not only equiped with everything that we needed, but had so much more. Adet was extremely helpful and responded to all our messages. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Stanford.

Elsja made sure we were warmly welcomed - Christmas decorations, gifts for our dogs and some fabulous treats for us! This is our 2nd holiday at the house and love the large rooms with plenty of light and fresh air - easy walks to the beach and the mountain. We will be back! Thank you.

The house was neat and tidy and the bedding was super soft. We had a very good stay and appreciated the housekeeper coming in mid stay to do a linnen swap for us. Would recommend.

Epic stay at a beautiful place. Good comms with India in the run up and Anton helpful during our stay. He also cooked us a beautiful roast lamb dinner which we highly recommend. 5 stars all round. The house is perfectly situated, yes it is a bit tired in places but it only adds to the charm. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms in good condition and the garden an absolute gem. This was our second visit to Gledsmuir and the stay matched our best expectations - again! We had a full house of 15 young and old adults (!) but the house is so spacious there was a place for everyone, whether it was to enjoy ball play or swim outside, or to find a space inside to play board games or cards, do a jigsaw puzzle or crossword, or read. The staff were unobtrusive and helpful, and magically restored the place to its pristine level throughout the day and early each morning. In particular, not having to be overly worried about washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen was a great treat for all the busy adults in our group. We had a truly relaxing and fun stay, in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The price is on the high side but you get what you pay for, and more.

Grandioses Umfeld, Blumenpracht, parkähnliche Anlage, geht nicht besser. Einzig das Internet ist nicht besonders stabil, bzw. sehr langsam, aber ausreichend. Owen ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder.

Absolutely loved our stay! Misha’s place is gorgeous - even nicer than the photos. Came for a weekend with some friends and it’s the perfect house for that - spacious entertainment area and pool. It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the mountain path. Bed was super comfy. Ciska was friendly and lovely. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing place that was just as described on the this platform. The house was so comforting and warm and had everything that we needed. Very spacious and peaceful. Would definitely be coming back here again. If I had to recommend something it would be that the pool be changed into a warm pool as the water was freezing and the sun does not reach this area. That being said I can't complain cz the garden was really a garden full of trees and plants. Simply bliss. Joanne our host was right on time and very friendly, bright smile and super helpful. Just a lovely person all round. Thanks for having us and we are eager to return again next year

Henri hat uns mit seiner Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft beeindruckt. Wir waren mit unserem 4 Jährigen Sohn ( leider nur) für 2 Nächte da. Wir wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Von einer Nachtwanderung durch einen Zauberwald, über planschen im Pool, Kanufahren und Motorradfahren mit Henri war alles dabei. Unser Sohn hat es geliebt und auch wir waren super happy über die Unterkunft auf dem Hof. In dem Tiny House haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Man hat eine wundervolle Aussicht auf die Berge, die Betten sind bequem und nachts ist es sehr ruhig.

The view. It was stunning!! Horses walking past early in evening, a little pond for the dogs to swim in, lovely walks in the evening 🌟 It was lovely and peaceful! Just a warning- one of the far away neighbours has a dog that’s seems pretty aggressive, if you’re taking a doggo, just beware of that one! But that’s no reflection on how amazing the accommodation was! I’ll be back!!!

Great stay in this lovely house that is perfectly located for walking to the shops and restaurants. Candice was really helpful with answering all my questions before arriving. Highly recommended!

What a memorable stay in Hermanus, made more so by Marinda. Location was ideal. Quiet yet close to everything. The cottage was in a beautiful setting as Marinda's garden is breathtaking. Odie and I felt completely at home in the cottage, including interaction with neighbors! Marinda is a kind soul, always looking out for me and Odie. Cannot wait to visit again during whale season!

We had a great stay at Vin’s place with our dogs. The place is clean, peaceful and the garden is beautiful. Vin is super responsive and accommodating, and full of good local recommendations !

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

We loved our stay at Lydia's place in Hermanus. Beautiful mountain views, garden and birds, and direct access to mountain walks whilst reasonably close to Voelklip beach. It had all the amenities that our family needed and a lovely authentic and rustic feel.

Excellent place, nice and clean.
