MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Welcome to the Deckhouse, a cozy and clean 2-bedroom cottage with a beautiful and tranquil harbour side view. Located in Dingwall, a small picturesque fishing community located approximately half way around the Cabot Trail. Although we do allow fur babies, please take note of the additional rules with regards to pets. This 2 bedroom cottage has a private yard and screen room. 2 small bedrooms both have queen beds and dressers, full living room, fully equipped kitchen (just bring food/coffee). Full bathroom with walk-in shower. Private BBQ. FAST Starlink WIFI, shampoo, soaps provided. Leashed dogs A-ok! 🐕 😊 Driveway is steep but well maintained in all seasons. Sorry, no motorcycles, please. WINTER BOOKINGS- snow tires and AWD needed for driveway, but it is always plowed and sanded.
