David & Jacqui are incredibly lovely hosts. You can tell at all times that your well-being is very important to them. From your arrival to your departure. Wonderful people who become friends. The accommodation is beautiful. Of course, the view deserves special mention. The sea and the mountains are at your feet. A place where you can completely relax. WiFI is up to date, works perfectly and there are some books and TV. The spa area is very spacious and the pool is beautiful. You can walk to Comares, where there are shops and restaurants. A beautiful place for which holidaymakers come from far and wide. You get to know the world anew while you relax under almond and olive trees. Your dogs are an added bonus to make you feel at home. The open-plan living area is very nice. They pay attention to detail to make you feel at home. The barbecue&wine is ready and there is plenty of space to relax. Daniel is an absolutely amazing host: friendly, attentive, helpful and very quick to reply to questions. The house is even better than the pictures, a fantastic place to stay for both kids and grown ups. We were here with a group of parents with teenagers and we all had the most magical time. Le logement est spacieux et fonctionnel avec une grande terrasse très agréable en pleine ville, deux chambres vastes avec des salles de bain, le tout accessible par ascenseur. Si vous aimez cuisiner, prévoyez qu'il n'y a pas de four. Cependant l'essentiel est présent pour un séjour urbain et le très authentique mercado del carmen est à deux pas. Catalina et son fils nous ont accueilli très gentiment, la communication a été parfaite et l'appartement était extrêmement propre, ce qui est très agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille à Malaga !

It's very nice villa with all the amenities that the family needs. There were even spices and other things left in the kitchen. Very handy. The drive is up the hill and I would not recommend to walk there, especially with children. There is a lot of space in the house and the outdoor area is amazing. The jacuzzi is a plus as the swimming pool was too cold to use in April. Almuñécar is not very busy yet as it's not holiday time in Spain, again it's a plus.I would highly recommend El Caminito del Rey and the cave in Nerja if you like outdoor adventures with your family

Great great stay... wonderful little place just a block from the beach with a great view of the ocean. The entire area is just perfect. The locals are friendly, the place was clean, we had a very good stay. Only two minor issues: the dryer stopped working while we were there and, if like us, you searched for "hot tub", it's actually a jacuzzi bath tub not a stand alone "hot tub". Not a huge deal except the water heater doesn't have enough water to fill it up with hot water. Definitely not enough to take any stars off, the place was great and we really enjoyed it. I only mention these two items for those searching for those specific amenities. Jose was very responsive with questions we had.

Buscábamos desconectar unos días tras la pérdida de nuestra amada gata de 12 años, y este lugar ha sido justo lo que necesitábamos: calma, playa, senderismo, buena comida y el calor de un hogar acogedor, cuidado con mimo hasta el último detalle. Dormir con la luz de la noche y el sonido del mar de fondo no tiene parangón. Hemos disfrutado tanto dentro como fuera de la estancia. La atención de Maribel, su anfitriona, ha sido inmejorable: siempre atenta, cercana y generosa con sus sugerencias. Nos vamos con las energías recargadas, el alma un poco más ligera y el corazón agradecido. Gracias de verdad por todo, ha sido un refugio en medio de la tristeza. Volveremos, sin duda.

Merci pour l'accueil. L'appartement est identique à la description. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire (cuisine, salle de bains, chambres). Nous avons même trouvé 2 transats pour se reposer à la mer et quand nous sommes que de passage c'est vraiment un plus. La vue de la chambre parentale et du salon est juste magnifique. Le balcon est très appréciable. Le bruit des vagues au coucher et au réveil est juste super.

Location was great and not too noisy in comparison to other places we have stayed in Malaga. The roof terrace was a really great extra, especially with a napping toddler. Location was great and the apartment had everything we needed. Communication with the host was always timely and helped us with any questions we had. Thanks so much for having us!

If you're heading to Málaga, this is the place to stay! Beautiful, cozy, and private, with an incredible view. It was super comfortable, spotless, and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. But the real highlight? Jose, the host. If I could rate him beyond 5 stars, I’d give him 10! He was beyond amazing, super kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Málaga. Thank you, Jose, for an unforgettable experience!

Une semaine de bonheur dans l’appartement de Jorge. Emplacement idéal entre la plage et les restaurants de la vieille ville. Au calme. L’appartement est confortable pour 2 personnes comme pour 4. C’est spacieux et on se sent bien dans le logement. Si les rues peuvent paraître étroites, nous n’avons eu aucun mal à stationner durant toute la journée du séjour. Arrivée et départ flexibles. Parfait

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for walking to the beach, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou. There were of places to eat nearby as well as a grocery store. We had some difficulty finding the building because we were driving a car and not sure what we were looking for amidst busy traffic but the host was immediately responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Heerlijk om wakker te worden van de frisse berglucht en de geluiden van de haan, de vogels en de ezel. Het dorpje is echt fantastisch. Weg van de “massa” toerisme van Frigiliana, wat een wel een mooi dorp is om te bezichtigen maar voor ons niet te verblijven - we zijn er een dag naartoe gewandeld - heen en terug 14km berg op, berg af. Het huisje is ingericht als een typisch “berg hutje” en is zeker met nog mooier weer prachtig om te verblijven met het zwembad. Je zou evt. ook met twee gezinnen kunnen verblijven, want er grenst nog een ander huisje aan. Vergeet niet in het restaurant in het dorpje te eten. 😻 heerlijk!

Very happy with our stay. Monica was great at communicating and answered any questions very quickly. Pool was awesome. Only 1 small downside - air conditioning unit outside main bedroom was a bit noisy. Coffee machine and pool were great! Also some floats for the sea were handy! We would definitely come back. Great appartment, close to the beach and with an amazing view from both terraces/balconies.

Great place to stay - even in winter. Some of the bars and tapas places were closed with it being Christmas/ New Year week but there is a lovely kitchen to cook in. Regular bus to Malaga and nearby larger villages for tapas. Great communcation with Simon and Jeanette and help with getting a taxi from the airport.

I don’t even know where to start- this place was so great! Situated off a main road but still easy to find, the house offers ample space for, well, everything. There are at least 4 areas to sit outside, as well as a private pool with a while bar attached to it, but indoors it’s just as comfortable. Heating worked well, bathrooms spacious and clean, kitchen well-equipped and inviting to use. Indeed the nearest bigger supermarket is not close at all, so come prepared, but Tim and Kate also provided several kitchen staples plus some extra groceries that took the stress off. The area is gorgeous, and there are several restaurants nearby if you choose not to use the facilities (that do also include a barbecue!). Plenty of entertainment around, games, movies, and just generally a great vibe. This is clearly a well-loved home, so glad we picked it. The hosts responded super quick and even offered a late checkout as it was possible, thanks Tim & Kate!! Hope to be back someday.

Pernilla was a great host and always responded so quickly to any queries. The apartment was lovely and the village is just beautiful. So well maintained and peaceful. Just far enough away from town to be outside of the thick of it but an easy enough walk down.

Vacances relaxantes reposantes avec activités culturelles à proximité. ( Séville et Grenade). Excellent terrain de trail pour sportif avec dénivelé à souhait, plages à 30 minutes de route. Logement spacieux et confortable. Une salle de bain bien aménagée est disponible pour chaque chambre ainsi que des rangements pour les vêtements. L’extérieur de la maison est magnifique. Terry est très sympathique et aidant. Stefani toujours réactive par messages. Il ne manque qu’un lave vaisselle, la climatisation ( température élevée jusqu’à 40 degrés l’été )et un robot pour nettoyer la piscine et ce petit coin de paradis entouré de Montagnes serait notre lieu de vacances idéales.

The house was wonderful, it had everything we needed and more. Great for lazy days around the house relaxing in the seating areas but also great to explore the nearby areas. The children loved picking the oranges from the trees and making fresh orange juice for breakfast.

What a beautiful villa! The views are outstanding, the kitchen/living space and outdoor areas are lovely and very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group. The bathrooms and some of the bedrooms were quite dark, but we appreciate that is the design of a house built into the hillside. La Herradura is walking distance with good bars and restaurants, although as others have said it is quite a steep climb back up to the villa, but there is plenty of parking if driving. Great roads and easy access from Malaga, and easy to get into Almuñécar for larger supermarkets, buses etc. We recommend a day trip to Granada as it is only an hour away, and beautiful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Rachel was very responsive and helpful when we were there. A minor issue with the cooker was resolved promptly. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

We really enjoyed our time in la Bolina - it was such a pleasure to stay in and experience this beautiful, smartly designed house surrounded by breathtaking nature. During our stay (in mid-April), the weather changed quickly - we had sunshine, rain, and cooler temperatures - but no matter the weather, we loved being there. Also, despite the cooler and rainy weather, it wasn’t cold or damp inside the house - we didn’t even need to use the heater. Thank you for everything - we’ll definitely be planning to come back!
