We had a lovely relaxing stay, the house was bright and fresh with tasteful decor. Easy to get to and loads of coastline to explore nearby and direct access to the sand dunes & beautiful local beach. Bed was mega comfy, kitchen was really well stocked & house was nice and toasty when the heating was on, the wood burner was an added bonus too! Check in really easy & communication was excellent - highly recommended for a Cornwall adventure!

My family and I enjoyed a relaxing break in Cornwall, staying at the Ferryman. The property is perched atop the mouth of the estuary and provides a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding area. The views are stunning and we spent hours walking along the coast and the beautiful sandy beaches. We felt very much at home and the property has all the comfort and amenities you would hope for. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area but wanting a degree of seclusion from the busy towns! Nicola was a perfect host, providing detailed instructions and guidance .. and a gorgeous welcome pack! Can’t wait to return!

It’s just the best place for a family holiday. Being so near the beach with everything you need for a comfortable stay, you can’t beat it! We love watching the birds come and go from the bird feeders, spotting rabbits in the garden and wild horses in the fields. Beds are comfy, shower nice and hot, kitchen had everything you would hope for plus some extra treats left by the host! This was our second stay and despite not having as much sunshine we loved it and can’t wait to return. Hosts so friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful family holiday to enjoy the last of the summer break. This place felt like home. The hosts were on hand to show us around the house, friendly and allowed us to feel right at home. The location is stunning, with plenty of space. The best beach directly opposite. Thanks so much for sharing your home. We hope to come back next summer.

We had a lovely half term week at Nightingale Mews. The location is fantastic and the accommodation clean and very well equipped. Sandra was very quick to come back with any questions and was genuinely focused on us having a lovely time. She left some scones and tea out for our arrival which was much appreciated by our children! I would highly recommend.

No 1 Beach road is the prefect home and location for a Cornish beach holiday. Myself and my two small children had a fab time, we love Porthtowan and have stayed in many Airbnb's close by this has far been the best.

This was an ideal bolt hole for our son and his dog over the Christmas holiday. It sits just above Loe beach on the Carrick Roads, with stunning views, a short walk to the beach, and in a rustic farmyard site. There was a very generous welcome pack, lots of wood for the fire, and thorough instructions for guests. This included clear advice regarding not allowing dogs on furniture nor the bed. We provided a throw for the sofa, and the dog had a sleeping basket. Unfortunately she had just started her season, and occasionally slept on the bed, causing significant soiling. We tried to clean the sheets in the washing machine, however caused a problem for the hosts who needed replace sheets and duvet. They phoned as soon as they found the situation, and were very calm despite having the pressure of new guests arriving that day.We apologised and have promised to reimburse costs. I highly recommend this venue but would suggest only taking a small, well behaved dog.

Sandy’s bungalow is a very beautiful place right at high street and 4-5 min drive from the beach parking lot. Beautifully decorated house, cozy furniture. She provided breakfast cereals, milk , butter , oil , bread, jam, scones, clotted cream in the kitchen. Ample of dishes and cutlery in the kitchen. Lots of bath towels , hand towels , beach towels, pillows. TV with Netflix and YouTube in living room, all shampoo and conditioners provided in bathroom, laundry detergent and d dishwasher tablets also sufficient enough, basically you only need to carry clothes and nothing else. Excellent place, we would live here again if we visit St Ives again

Der Bungalow liegt eine ganz kurze Autofahrt vom Strand entfernt. Der Weg dorthin war ausführlich beschrieben. Es gibt einen Parkplatz. Das Haus entspricht den Fotos und war ganz sauber. Die Kekse und Chips waren eine nette Überraschung. Die zwei Bäder sind ganz praktisch. Die Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit, als es etwas Probleme wegen des starken Regens gab. Im Dorf gibt es einen tollen Fish and Chips Laden. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft.

I have just returned from a wonderful stay and can highly recommend! The place is tucked away and is very peaceful - but very easy to get to Perranporth, Perran Sands, etc and exploring the local area. Everything that you could need is provided, and Gail & Adrian added some lovely little touches which made me feel very at home and welcomed. The garden and deck area is just like the photos, and a perfect setting for enjoying a glass of wine after a day's surf. Adrian was incredibly helpful, friendly and very responsive, and gave me local recommendations of places to visit & where to watch the sunset. It felt like they really cared about your time staying with them and to get the most from your holiday! I will definitely be back, and feel like I've found a real gem!

Mark and Viv could not have made us more welcoming. We were 4. My son and I and his 2 boys - 14 and 17. The great thing for us was the easy access, just 6 minutes walk, from the bungalow to all the sports facilities, skateboarding, tennis club, gym and the beaches were nearby too. The bungalow was well appointed and our hosts had thought of every detail to make us comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend it. Trish and Marc

Had a great stay in September. The setting is very peaceful and well located for exploring different areas. You can easily drive to the north or south coast depending on the weather and type of activity you want to find. The house is within walking distance of the Cornish Arms for an evening out, but the kitchen also had everything needed for cooking at home. Thanks again!

It was one of the best weekend getaways I've been on. Katie was lovely to communicate with and helpful with all my questions. She was also flexible with a few timings to be more accommodating. The property was stunning and located in a lovely area. It had a lovely private area, so that even though you were in the middle of other houses, you felt like you were far away on vacation. She also left us a lovely little book covering all questions we could have about staying there and included recommendations about restaurants and things to do. I am definitely considering going back there again in years to come. I could not stress enough how much I would recommend staying here.

Cannot fault this home, a lovely homely place, felt very welcoming, well equipped and everything you need for a really comfortable stay. Host made you feel welcome right from the booking onwards. Enabled and early check in which was a bonus and there was a nice selection of welcome goodies which was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend.
