Jose es un excelente host. Siempre disponible para cualquier ayuda. El lugar es hermoso, los cuartos y sala tienen aire acondicionado. Todo organizado y limpio. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

We had such a lovely time staying at Ingrid’s house. The bungalow on the water was really cute and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid was a wonderful host. We snorkeled every day and went to town a couple of times for lunch and to purchase some groceries. We cooked every day so stock up on supplies. There are staples in the cabin like basic spices and oil. Such a peaceful and picturesque spot. We hope to be back soon.

We were 3 adults and we were all so excited with the house. So warm and beautiful with a very friendly host!clean and very lovely. It was a bit far from the town (25min walk) so we had the privacy we needed.Totally recommend it for an affordable option on such a fancy place!!

I spent a month here. We felt at home right away. Exceptionally clean, everything you need in the kitchen, lots of towels and access to laundry on site for free. Walking distance to town or beaches, easy to hail taxis and close to bus stop. Beautiful sunsets everyday. Al and Urania were always available by phone or in person to help with any questions. Wifi and smart tv . Kayaks available to use on the bay. Highly recommend staying here.

Fue nuestra primera vez en bocas y quedamos enamorados, el Airbnb está muy bonito y permite y cuenta con lo necesario para poder disfrutar del mar. Poli estuvo atenta en todo momento y nos ayudó mucho con recomendaciones. Además que se incluya el check in y out el traslado es bastante positivo porque es un monto que se puede ahorrar.

A quiet paradise over the water. The only sounds were birds and waves, and the occasional boat passing by. Connect to the ocean and nature day and night by watching birds and fish and bats right from your dinner table. If you're looking for some peace and quiet - this is the place for you!

El alojamiento superó mis expectativas. Es un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo, ideal para descansar. Escuchar el sonido del mar desde el lugar aporta una sensación de calma y conexión con el entorno que realmente se agradece. Cuenta con todas las amenidades necesarias para una estancia cómoda y agradable. Todo estuvo en orden, limpio y bien cuidado. Sin duda, una excelente opción a la que me encantaría regresar.

One of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at and like many other guests have said, our only regret was not staying longer. We were warmly welcomed by Lupita, Alfredo, and Bilbo, which made us feel right at home. Despite the language barrier, communication was easy and they were both incredibly helpful and accommodating. Lupita’s homemade breakfast was such a lovely touch and really made our stay feel special. The view of the lagoon was absolutely breathtaking, and the location made it super convenient to join tours and explore the area. We also loved having the freedom to hop in the kayak whenever we wanted! It was just a short drive into the centre of Bacalar, and since we had a car, it was no trouble at all-plus, there was plenty of parking available, so we never had to worry. We would absolutely love to return here again!

This is a one of a kind Airbnb! It’s right on the water and has beautiful deck to watch the sunset. The kayak was a fun bonus and made for great adventure to the floating bar. The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom was also spacious with hot water. The mini fridge was helpful to have and though we mostly ate out, the little outdoor kitchen space was great to have as an option. It’s walking distance from the ferry/the main part of town with restaurants and shops. The hosts gave us helpful recommendations for where to eat, about the water taxis, and even helped us launch the kayak into the water. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it!

Es ist hier ein absolutes Paradies! Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Man kann direkt vom Boot in das kristallklare Wasser springen und die Einrichtung ist sehr detailgetreu und in einem super Zustand.

Las cabañas estaban a 1 minuto en lancha de Isla Colon (Isla principal de Bocas) ellos muy amables cada vez que ocupabamos lancha la llamaban de inmediato, nuestras solicitudes las solucionaron en el momento y en general La dueña y su hijo excelentes personas. El plus que tiene es la piscina y su propio bar. Iríamos de nuevo

The place is beautiful. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Marigot bay the whole time. There’s not a lot of great food options, all with the same, fairly limited menu. The local food is the best option - jerk chicken, stews, etc, but even those are not as good as the rest of the island. This place is only accessible by boat - you need what’s app to get on and off the cabin to get food. The beach is walking distance and there’s some food and beverages served when you get chairs during the day. The hike along the property (Billy goat trail) is stunning. It’s really very very beautiful, but it’s not a great place to see the island. Also being a sound machine - sound travels across the water and it can be fairly loud.

Si vous devez choisir un logement à Bacalar, choisissez celui-ci ! C'est un paradis sur terre, on s'y est sentis vraiment très bien. La vue est sublime et le ponton est très agréable pour profiter de la lagune. Tout le confort est présent, eau chaude, wifi, climatisation, café etc. Merci encore aux hôtes qui étaient très accueillants !

hermoso lugar para quedarse y vivir la experiencia de vivir en un bote con todas las comodidades de tu hogar, restaurantes, bares, y playas muy cerca del lugar a parte de ofrecer estacionamiento privado y por último un agradecimiento a Lorena que siempre estuvo atenta para resolver cualquier duda que tuvimos.

Where to begin! Shelley and Dave were very friendly, easy to reach and it was a very memorable moment at their floating house. We took a tour with them on their boat. They showed us many places (nice birds, beach, snorkeling, even dolphins!), it was really worth the additional charges! We could see a sloth and monkeys right near their house, do kayak and snorkeling around the floating house, look at the stars and ear the forest wake up in the morning from the bed (which were really comfortable). What a wonderful moment we had there. We would recommend 100%!

This is a great place right on the water. Hosts Naomi and Jason were amazing and having access to communicate with them is super helpful. Similar response to other reviews, the house is loud. Anyone staying in the lower 2 bedrooms can hear all the footsteps. It wasn't a particular issue for my group but its def something to note. The house is located in the "quiet" end of town. Everything is just a short walk away but you are away from the madness. There is now construction next door that does begin at 8am. Again, not something of concern for our group but prob important to know for the next few months as the homes are being built right next door. Great stay, beautiful location close to anything you need. And amazing hosts!!
