Absolutely beautiful house. We were blown away by it. A fairly large group of us stayed and the house was big enough to accommodate us all. The hot tub was great although did take a while to get up to temperature. Jill was welcoming and really helpful. A brilliant host. Would definitely stay again in future.

We had a wonderful stay, we brought our 2 dogs and all thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Aileen is a superb host, always on hand to answer any questions or just have a quick chat. We enjoyed watching the horses and chickens being attended to throughout the day and the hot tub was a lovely way to end the days after walking along the beach or hiking in the mountains. 100% recommend

Thank you so much for hosting us! The apartment is in a fantastic location—right in the heart of the village, yet tucked away in a peaceful and private area. It’s just a short walk to restaurants, pubs, and Kilbroney Park. The amenities provided everything we needed, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower was powerful and refreshing. Edward was a wonderful host—friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay in the treehouse quirky and very different with excellent views great location for Carlingford and two minutes walk from a friendly local bar extremely dog friendly Padraig went out of his way to meet us and was very responsive and helpful thanks so much Karen Stephen and Jessie 🐶

Paula is a genuine host who cares passionately about her cottage and her guests, and is very genuine when dealing with her guests.. Our family had a fantastic 5-night stay at "The Bank" in Portaferry! The location couldn’t have been better – right in the heart of the town. What made our stay truly special was the heritage charm of the property. So many details still reflect its history as an old bank, and that unique character really added to the experience. We especially loved the cosy fireplace, which made those cold, dark winter evenings feel warm and inviting. Plus, everything in Portaferry was just a short walk away, making it super convenient to explore the area. Having a Eurospar right across the street was such a bonus too! We absolutely enjoyed our time here and would recommend "The Bank" to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

This was our second stay at Judith’s place and we have no doubt we will be back again. A beautiful location, where the sea comes almost to the front door. The kids had complete freedom to come and go to the beach and rock pools, cups of tea and dinner on the front wall, lovely walks near by, and cosy evenings by the fire when it got chilly. An enclosed back garden which was great for the dog. Judith is a very generous host too. Highly recommended all round.

Perfect for our family at Easter. Lots of walks a very short distance away and not far from town centre. Lovely private, enclosed garden where our kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt! Friendly and welcoming hosts, very clean accommodation with a helpful welcome pack. The cosy, beautiful setting very much made up for the damp weather. A little hidden gem in the Mournes, would not hesitate to book again.

Couldnt fault the cottage, clean and warm and everything you needed provided. Appreciated the scones on arrival. Fiona was very accommodating and got back to me very quickly any time i had a question. Would recommend.

wonderful pair of houses ideal for what we needed washing machine lovely kitchen bathrooms living spaces and bedrooms everything where it needed to be hairdryers ironing board etc and we even got a little welcome treat fantastic place great couple would stay again definitely!

We had a wonderful few days here — the perfect base for exploring the area. The house had everything we needed and more, and it was incredibly comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and would happily recommend it to anyone.

it was second time stay. Claire is very friendly and always responsive. Friends and kids were very happy at this place and had a great new year fun. Portadown shops are just 10 mins drive. We will surely visit again. Thank You

What a beautiful space with great amenities, spectacular views and hiking trails right there. Very comfortable and cozy… we loved our time there!

Four generations of our family stayed here for a week while here to celebrate my sons wedding in Tullyveery Killyleagh. What a week of weather! What a fantastic property which has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Very comfortable seats and beds and the space can be and is comfortably warm despite the high ceilings in the living area. We never needed to use the log burning stove .The road outside can be busy during the day but quiet at night. Strangford is a lovely wee place with a few shops and eating places and walks on the doorstep. NT Castleward is very nearby too. A 5 min ferry takes you over the other side to Portaferry where you can explore that side of Strangford loch. We enjoyed our trip very much and would love to return one day.
