If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. Great restaurants are nearby, or make use of our original 1950s efficiency kitchen and dine al fresco. You’re surrounded by wineries, farm markets and even a candy store. The living room features a comfy sofa and chair for reading with queen sofa bed and tv, 1st floor full bath walk in shower. 2nd floor has a lofted ceiling with a queen bed, vanity, tv, desk and chair. The Antietam Toll House (@antietamtollhouse) is a renovated historic property circa 1800. Sitting on the bank-head of the Antietam stream, this cabin has it's own private fishing hole. Secluded, yet close to amenities and attractions, this property is the perfect place for an artist retreat, respite from the city or a base from which to explore local gems of the area. Wineries, Appalachian Trail, Antietam, Gettysburg battlefields, Ski Liberty, Catoctin , Cunningham Falls and more nearby.

(all within 3 miles) We are central to Gettysburg and Hershey (30 miles), Harrisburg,Carlisle, Boiling Springs, Allen Berry Play house, the Appalachian Trail, and LeTort Spring Run! Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

Enjoy the coziness of the BirdHouse. Our kitchen has the necessities to cook. We provide olive oil, spices, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, coffee filters, and trash bags. For the bathroom we provide starter shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and of course the towels. Linens provided also. Enjoy the courtyard area with its gas fireplace and seating area. Cook on the gas grill and enjoy a meal at the bistro table. Please come and relax!
