We couldn’t help but extend our stay—Bel made it impossible to leave! Her incredible hospitality turned a great experience into something truly exceptional. The comfort and relaxation we felt during our time here, thanks to her thoughtful hosting, made us realize one night simply wasn’t enough. Bel’s attention to detail is second to none, and her genuine care for her guests shines through in every aspect of the stay. From her personalized recommendations to her warm, welcoming presence, she made us feel completely at ease. Great location, close to lots of activities for families with children. Uncluttered and with enough space for us to spread out a bit at the end of each day. The TVs in each room (with cable!) helped. :) The washer and dryer were life-saving after each beach day with three kids. Antonio was a wonderful host. We appreciated his list of local recommendations and kept referring back to his email to decide what to do and check things off the list. All in all, an absolutely wonderful vacation spot.

Nice place. Quiet. Private. Safe. My only complaint was that the host messaged a lot. And charged per person. Which felt weird compared to other bnbs. I didn’t love that. But once we got there, other than being able to tell the host had popped in throughout our stay, they left us alone and we enjoyed. I get it, people need to protect their homes, but we don’t like to be bothered.

Eric is the friendliest, most hospitable host you could ask for! If you want any local travel tips or an insider's perspective, he's definitely your guy. Eric went above and beyond for us during our short stay, even showing us around town and providing us breakfast (and more importantly delicious Puerto Rican coffee) in the morning. Would recommend to anyone looking for meaningful host-guest interactions and overall a great experience.

Incredible stay. All the details hung together perfectly. We were looking for something both luxe but different and close to the beach. This was a 3 minute walk to the beach and frankly was as close as you can get to the beach other than millionaires’ homes and mega hotels. This place stood out like a crown jewel from the rest. The greenhouse room was up a spiral staircase, and being at the end of our short trip to PR I felt like I could truly unwind, swing in the hammock and appreciate just being - before moving to the next part of our itinerary. Highlights were the unique architecture. Interior decor / aesthetic. Great AC / fan. Cozy lighting. Hammock was fun. Curtains did their trick. Shower was huge and felt outdoorsy. This place was the tits! My boyfriend who is a light sleeper was worried at first about light disrupting him, and noise - GOOD NEWS is the curtains did their thing as very thick material. Noise levels were high until 10:30 or so (from the sky bar!) then no noise!

Thank you Sammy! Our stay was fantastic. The house is just as described, beautiful. It is very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The pool was amazing, and clean. Dorado and the location of the house felt very safe and beautiful. We arrived the day of the power outage in PR. We had no issues the house has a generator. We actually didn't realize everyone else was out of power until we left our house. Sammy did an amazing job of sending over recommendations of restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else we could have needed before we checked into the house. It was super helpful. I had a few questions while on the trip and Sammy responded within minutes. I appreciate the quick response and great recommendations. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

This is a superbly located no-frills dormitory-style rental that can accommodate a large group among its private bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and opens to the outside courtyard. The kitchen also opens up to the outside courtyard. 5-minute walk to the beach, and within walking distance to dozens of restaurants, cafes, bars, and the Ocean Park Walgreens which has many quality grocery staples. The kitchen is barely stocked and very minimally provisioned. There is a microwave but no oven, so cooking is limited to the stovetops. The rooms all have A/C but the kitchen does not and the only other communal area where you can gather/eat together is out on the shared courtyard. If you're looking for a simple and well located home base to lay your head as you explore PR, with private bedrooms, this place is perfect. The host was very responsive and helpful when we needed it and check-in/out was a breeze. Would recommend fully.

The house is spacious, comfortably accommodated our group of eight. It sits atop of the hill with a stunning mountain view. Driving up the hill was a bit challenging at first, but we quickly got used to it. Mailyn was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. Overall it's a great stay!

Great place. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Pristine shower and toilet. Everything needed for preparing a meal was provided. Great view from the bedroom windows. A/C was cold. Andi was very nice and accomodating. There were free peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches for guest. An easy 10 minute walk to the grocery and bus stop. 30 minute walk to the Supermaxi. 5/5 recommended!

We’re a family of four with kids, and had a wonderful time at Ricardo’s apartment. The place was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful ocean view. The beach is just a few steps away, and there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby, making everything very convenient. Ricardo was an exceptional host-Friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to meek us feel right at home. We’d definitely stay here again !

A fantastic place to stay in Puerto Rico! The beach is just across the street, right next to the vibrant main area of Dorado. Some of the island’s best dining and attractions are just minutes away. The beach here is stunning—perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities. This place has everything you need—parking, great amenities, and a comfortable setup. The host was amazing, making sure we had everything for a perfect stay. One of the best meals we had was at El Villa de Lester—highly recommended! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and the AC kept the entire space cool and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

-Great location. Right by the beach and walking distance to lots of great restaurants. -Generator! We didn't even realize the island was without power at first because we when we returned from the beach we still had power and internet like nothing had happened. This is an essential asset with P.R's inconsistent power grid. -This apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building, Isabel has another apartment on the 3rd floor, and then the pool/deck is on the 4th floor rooftop. There is no deck directly off this apartment. Pool was not available during our stay, but Isabel was great at working with us. - Lots of beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and other beach supplies. -Isabela and Ana were very quick to respond to all of our questions and communications.

Andie Literally treated me like family ! like she was my long lost Puerto Rican prima ! She made sure I was comfortable. Gave me tips with my unborn son . When I had an issue with the WiFi she was super quick and responsive. I did experience a small power outage while I was there wasn’t too bad or long . Andie’s place looked exactly like the pictures. I can say with cleanliness it could have been a bit better just in the bedroom the sheets and pillows had a weird smell to me, my pregnancy nose smells everything ! Location was literally close to everything Ubers were super reasonable. Would definitely stay with her again in the same unit ! Overall my experience was great for my birthday trip .

This is a beautiful setting and just a wonderful place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, I loved sitting on the balcony watching the clouds roll over and listening to the frogs at night, The walk down to the river is a little steep if you have older knees - but with my hiking shoes and a stick it was fine. And so worth it!

This place is so much more breathtaking than even the pictures! Stunning views and AMAZING breakfast. Matthew is very accessible and accommodating. The trail down to the river was well maintained and easy to walk, the river area is beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

My stay at La Botanica Hotel was simply amazing. The atmosphere there is very calming. Upon entering nto the space with beautiful greenery and sounds of wind chimes, one is transported to an oasis, in the middle of the city. The team members are all very amiable and willing to answer what ever questions I may have had. The room was basic but very comfortable with everything necessary including beach towels, beach mat and cooler bag. I looked forward to the morning yoga practices followed by a vegan breakfast…..the food was definitely a high point with such presentation, flavour and variety! The chefs are awesome, make sure you have Solange’s mole made with pure love! The beach is a mere 5 minute walk away and the water was very warm and enticing.. La Botánica is the perfect unpretentious spot for a reset of mind, body and soul.

Staying at Joaquin’s place is nothing short of magical. He has created a retreat from the world while still being able to see it below from the house and the gardens. I learned so much about Puerto Rica and botany. Joaquin is such a special person with a huge heart and unbelievable knowledge. You’ll want to talk to him for hours! Meeting the other guests was a fun experience as well. I appreciated that my room had a private bathroom and refrigerator. The breakfast Joaquin made was so beautiful and filling. Can’t recommend staying here enough- it’s uniquely captivating. I’m looking forward to coming back to see my new friend and his ever-evolving sanctuary!

Perfectly situated on a residential street in downtown San Juan. Beautiful room in a beautiful, well maintained property. Hosts are so friendly and breakfast was great every morning with local cuisine. Updated amenities with old world charm. Loved staying here. Would definitely stay here again. Very walkable to the rest of old San Juan.

Our stay at Casa Cubuy was incredible. The surrounding area is stunning. Every room has a view of the rainforest and the lodge is quite peaceful. Matthew and Marianne were great hosts. The check in was flexible, they were communicative and welcoming, and they were responsive throughout our stay. The lodge has a rustic feel. There was no AC, but the ceiling fan and the screened windows kept us cool enough. We had a little lizard friend in our room, but he left us alone - I'm sure he was helping keep the room free of bugs! Personally I found the sounds of the rainforest at night very soothing. Birds, frogs, and the wind created some noise, but I enjoyed it (I'm coming from a city where the norm is sirens). I would absolutely come back to casa cubuy. The hosts were great, the lodge was comfortable, and the setting is unparalleled.

So peaceful and extremely convenient location to walk around. The garden is gorgeous and the decor was breathtaking!
