Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Drakes Cottage is situated within the courtyard of a former 18th century coaching stables. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

The historic Cumbria village of Beetham stands at the northern edge of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage provides a unique holiday retreat on the outskirts of the stunning Lake District World Heritage Site, the Yorkshire Dales and also within easy reach of Leighton Moss and Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserves.

Close to Lake Windermere, the whole of The Lake District National Park is yours to discover. Children will adore the superb play park just across the lane and 'grown ups' may wish to celebrate a really special occasion together and try out the wood fired pizza oven and BBQ. Dogs are welcome and will be safe in the garden which is totally enclosed.

Crown Cottage is a luxury self catering cottage situated in the tranquil village of High Newton in the southern Lake District. The property is ideally situated close to local attractions including the foodie capital of Cartmel and the southern shores of Windermere. Further afield, activities such as fell walking, mountain biking in Grizedale Forest and trips to the towns of Bowness, Ambleside and Grasmere are all easily accessible.

Upper Crumble a romantic retreat for two set in an idyllic rural location with beautiful views. It has its own Hot Tub in a private courtyard. Perfectly located to access The Lakes and the medieval village of Cartmel. Cosy log stove, Wifi and private car park. Our large private gardens can be viewed 4-6pm summer time or by arrangement and a map is left in the cottage. The Back Garden Section shows photos of these areas.

Old Dan's is our welcoming cosy cottage which is warm in winter but light and airy in the summer. Old Dan’s enjoys a great location. Close to all the amenities of Cartmel and it’s popular racecourse and Grange-over-Sands, with a short drive to Windermere and Coniston. Get a real sense of the beautiful South Lakes area, with its rolling countryside, hilltop view points and lots of woodland and coastal walks on the doorstep.
