Atelier was inspired by painting holidays in France. It is a spacious studio at Hylands providing a base for escape, rest and adventure. It is cosy with a wood burner, uses high quality materials throughout, curated with love and care. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore, where you can dine al fresco or just sit and watch the wildlife and the ever changing views. It is 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Post Box - Cosy tiny house

A lovely little accommodation, comfortable and cosy with a country cottage garden and a beautiful view of the fell beyond. It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.

(A babe in arms is welcome) 1 small pet allowed The apartment is a minute walk to all the amenities of Cartmel which includes the Race course and the famous Michelin starred Restaurants. We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.

A delightful cottage, sleeping from 2 to 8 - perfect for a quiet break or a holiday with friends or family. Close to Lake Windermere, the whole of The Lake District National Park is yours to discover. Children will adore the superb play park just across the lane and 'grown ups' may wish to celebrate a really special occasion together and try out the wood fired pizza oven and BBQ. Dogs are welcome and will be safe in the garden which is totally enclosed.

The Apartment on the Square is in a prime position right in the square of the historic and picturesque village of Cartmel. Old Dan's is our welcoming cosy cottage which is warm in winter but light and airy in the summer. Old Dan’s enjoys a great location. Close to all the amenities of Cartmel and it’s popular racecourse and Grange-over-Sands, with a short drive to Windermere and Coniston. Get a real sense of the beautiful South Lakes area, with its rolling countryside, hilltop view points and lots of woodland and coastal walks on the doorstep.

Two double bedroom riverside cottage in the village of Cark In Cartmel, ideal if you are visiting Cartmel for its world renown restaurants such as L'Enclume or Rogan & Co, attending Cartmel races or visiting the South Lakes area for the lovely walks. There is a pub within 5 walk with a further 4 pubs 40 minutes walk away in Cartmel, there is parking outside the cottage for two cars.

a lovely, self-contained building, overlooking the garden at Broughton House. Well equipped kitchen, sitting room, sunny verandah, double bedroom, shower room - do your own cooking, or dine out in Cartmel. Dogs are welcome so long as they don't sleep on the bed

Historic Waterside Barn

The Barn has an open mezzanine floor with a super-king bed . The main open plan area is very large and could be used as a venue for celebratory dinners (up to 40), yoga retreats etc , most conveniently when rented in conjunction with Waterside House.
