We had a wonderful stay with Sebastian and his wife. Very nice house in a beautiful quiet surrounding. Full of nature, hike trails and close to Lissabon, Cascais, Sintra and the amazing beaches. The house is perfect for a small family. We would definitely come back.

wij waren hier met onze ouders op leeftijd. Ze vonden de inrichting en de grootte geweldig ondanks dat het voor hen hier en daar dan wat behelpen was vanwege de hogere leeftijd. Dat namens ze graag voor lief. Alles is ruimschoots aanwezig. Overal dichtbij: strand, centrum en supermarkt(je) Kortom hele leuke week hier beleefd!

This little apartment fitted my needs well. I wanted somewhere comfortable and with easy access to coastal walks as I was on my own and without a car. The apartment is quiet and nicely equipped. The welcome gifts and morning bread was much appreciated. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The patio was more overlooked by the other holiday cottages than I expected but it wasn’t a problem. There is a shop very close (for basic needs only) and a friendly restaurant nearby too where I was warmly welcomed and served nice Portuguese food, good value. The beach is a pleasant 20 - 25 min walk away. Ubers are easy to get if you’re on foot and there is a bus to Cascais. I had a wonderful walk up the coast to Cabo da Roca.

Katerina was very proactive, responsive, and a caring host. Any issues or questions I had were quickly addressed. Her English is excellent, so there were no issues with language barriers. I stayed for 30 days, so the weekly cleaning was nice in that the apartment stayed in good condition without much effort on my part. It’s a very pretty apartment with a lot of character: art, books, etc. It did make me worry that I would accidentally mix up my stuff with the apartment’s and consequently forget it at checkout. I alleviated this worry by limiting where I put my possessions to only a couple locations. New tenants: Be sure to get the unit’s Lote number (groupings of the apartments, displayed on the apartment complex external doors) before you arrive, or maybe ask for the location/pin of the best external door to access the apartment. For the address provided, most apps will take you a bit further into the apartment complex, which can be a bit of a hike if you have luggage.

I agree with all the other positive reviews - this is a wonderful place to stay! Really enjoyed the space and the variety of activities including the pool, table tennis and chess board. Close to everything including the beach. Easy communication with the host who is very friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The house is a very comfortable space for a family with two kids. Specious enough and located in quiet area. It is well maintained and had everything we needed. The only thing is electric lightning in the living room which is too dim and not very pleasant for eyes. Very good supermarket is just around the corner, though no restaurants or cafes around. If you have a car it shouldn't be a problem as there is huge shopping mall with a great food court in 5 min drive. Particia is a great host, very helpful and friendly, she made our stay nice and cozy. All in all, we wouldn't think of any other option if we came to Sintra again. We would love to come back. I definitely recommend this place.

Pedro and his crew have thought of everything. It really is like a private villa in a luxury resort with extremely attentive service and a house set up perfectly for comfort. The pool is heated and lit at night. There is banana tree next to it. You have a juicer and a pile of fresh oranges at checkin. The bigger of the three TVs is 85 inch. There is a ski light in one of the three bathrooms. The only problem is that it might be hard to go back to your own house after this stay.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

L'appartement et sa terrasse sont superbes et Gabriela a toujours été très réactive et prévenante. Nous avons eu la visite sympathique du chat du voisin. L'emplacement est très bien par rapport à la plage et aux commerces, le quartier est agréable, il était un tout petit peu loin à pied du centre de Cascais où nous avions à faire, mais le train était là si besoin. L'accès à Lisbonne est également très facile via ce même train.

We had a wonderful stay in Paula's beautiful apartment in downtown Cascais! The apartment is perfect for a group of four people. We felt right at home in the cozy living room, sundrenched kitchen/dining area and two spacious bedrooms. The apartment is located in the heart of Cascais' vibrant restaurant district, with many great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner within a stone's throw. The beach and other tourist destinations are a short walk from the apartment. The electric blinds in the apartment were very helpful to block out any noise from the street. We would highly recommend staying here.

Michel is a wonderful host! The apartment is just as described, lovely and quiet, located in a very safe and exclusive street in Estoril. We stayed there a month and had a great time. The weekly cleaning was a plus as was Michel’s niceness and flexibility. Thank you!!

Cozy and nice apartment in a convenient location: 10 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to the supermarket, 10 minutes to the train. Orla and Rita are wonderful hosts, responsive and always in touch. I will be glad to stay again in the future.

We booked a couple nights here last minute and have no regrets! Nice sized apartment with a bit of an ocean view from the two balconies. Very clean with comfortable beds and linens. The provided beach bag, hats and beach towels were greatly appreciated! The location was perfect for us. The walk to downtown is lovely and the dunes/Prais do Guincho area is a short uber ride away. This was our first visit to Cascais and we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for 2 months the apartment was perfect in its location and facilities, including regular cleaning and safe parking for our car. However at this time of year it can be cold and there were only some small electric heaters in the apartment. But Luis is a very good host, he met us with food and wine on the first night and continued to check on us throughout our stay. He went out of his way to find me a swimming pool nearby, to give us some extras we needed, and his recommendations for places to eat were fantastic, we tried them all and he brought us out the last night! Thank you Luis!

Excellent accommodations which looked exactly like in the photos. Host was very responsive and helpful, check in process was very thorough and detailed for ease of use. Property is very close to the train station with everything from Lisbon to Cascais and beyond very accessible and convenient.

Beautiful property in an amazing location, not too far from Lisbon and close to other areas such as Cascais and Sintra. We typically spent our days sightseeing in other areas and then spent the evenings in Lisbon. The property also comes with a great handbook of recommendations and information on the area, along with information on the property. Great stay would 100% recommend.

What an amazing stay we had as a family of four at Daniel’s place. He was willing to meet us there late and go over everything we felt like we would need to know about the home. It’s very spacious with outdoor living spaces as well. Centrally located between Lisbon and Sintra made it easy to get anywhere you want to be within 15 minutes. Daniel was very responsive and extremely friendly. I would absolutely stay there again! Thanks again Daniel for helping us make some wonderful family memories!

Besides it was a short stay as we were crossing thru Portugal, it was a sweet experience and we simply loved the place. I easily could see myself enjoying a longer staying week or more, comfortable, cozy, good neighborhood. Close to the sea. Diogo is an excellent host.

Fabulous apartment which is very close to amazing restaurants and bars. V close to the beaches and the pool area is also a huge plus point

Laura’s place is awesome. We were looking for an apartment with parking because we rented a car. It was perfect. The apartment a very spacious, with natural light from every angle. It is not in the downtown but is within walking distance while you still can stay a bit away from touristic areas. A perfect place for families or two couples. You feel at home away from home. Laura is very responsive and provides you with good recommendations and tips around. We are looking forward to come back!

Lovely spacious, clean & modern apartment. You can walk to the beach & bar (busy road to cross but there is an underpass). Supermarket & amazing bakery are a few mins away too. We stayed for a week in April 25. Pools are not heated. Hired a car to explore Sintra, Cascias and further up the Lisbon coast. Lots of parking at apartment. Safe area. Lovely little garden backs on to road but otherwise peaceful. We got the train into Lisbon from Sao Pedro do Estrorli several times.

The flat was clean and nice, as in description and photos. I love Parede area, was staying there second time, as it is just next to good local places, beach and more calm flow then in Lisbon. We did not use grill part, but the terrace was super sunny and spacy. In the kitchen you can literally find everything you need, the bed was super comfortable. I probably missed the description part that the flat is very close to railways, you can honestly hear the trains, but after first night actually it was already not so loud. Nuno was also very friendly and helpfull.

We loved our stay at Cristina’s place, it’s conveniently located and her home is perfect for a family with young children. We will certainly be back. Thanks Cristina!
