House was well appointed. Great for a large group. Great location to walk to town and beach. Communication was easy, even with using a third party management company. However, the extra paperwork (listing all guests names and ages, for example), contracts, and use of a second app other than Airbnb were a surprise.

The area of Saugatuk and Douglas is fabulous with a lot of cafes and restaurants. The town is very quaint and picturesque. A lot of great farm to table restos and a wonderful farmer's market. The place was gorgeous with a pool. And a lot of towels for swimming. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family meals. The "baby suite" was especially nice with a fridge in the basement. And the rooms upstairs had a master bedroom with en suite bathroom. Another smaller room and a room with bunk beds share a bathroom. The shower heads were great! Nice fluffy beddings and we all slept well with lots of privacy between families and kids. The living room and kitchen were very nice with enough room for kids to play and great for dinners and breakfast. Great patio area for reading, working and relaxing by the pool. We had a wonderful family stay! Our home away from home. Very relaxing and we loved staying at this house. We'll be back!

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

The house was very clean. The location is four minutes away from Lake Michigan. Would really recommend the Swedish bakery, which is very close by. Plenty of places to eat and close proximity to other cities if you need to go shopping. Quick replies from the owner answering any questions I had.

We can’t wait to visit Michigan again and will definitely stay here again when we do! This place is so close to beaches, hiking and everything we wanted. Jennifer is an amazing host and was always available and very helpful! We highly recommend this home!

The house was clean, comfortable and as described in the listing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book the property again. The heated pool and hot tub were great for our group to relax.

The place was absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and well-designed. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, with the lake just a short walk away. Would definitely love to visit again!

Mill Pond made it extremely easy to check in, being accommodating to our late arrival time. They were proactive in reaching out to me with check-in instructions, called me the morning after I checked in to make sure we didn't have any issues, and were very helpful with local recommendations. The location of this unit is hard to beat, given how close it is to downtown Saugatuck. I will definitely be back, thank you Mill Pond!

What an outstanding spot to enjoy the beauty of Saugatuck/Douglas! This charming condo, right on the river, offers a beautiful deck where you can watch the boats sail by and see some of the fun and music across the river, but still have your own private and quiet space. It's conveniently located next to the ferry, which runs every 15 minutes, making it easy to explore both sides of the river. The condo is fully equipped and also includes access to all the amenities and services of the adjacent Beachway Resort hotel. We actually worked remotely from the condo each day and then headed out for the day - wifi and seating was perfect for working remote, though perhaps only 1 zoom call at a time unless you can take one from the bedroom. The resort staff were excellent, but Kim's welcoming, proactive and responsive communication made us feel safe and right at home. We highly recommend this rental to anyone and look forward to returning soon!

Great location. Very clean and had all the amenities needed and listed. Only concern was how small the 3rd bedroom was upstairs . Only room for the one twin bed which we could not even sleep in (Mattress kept sliding ). Very tight space with no dresser or place to store your clothing in this tiny room. We used the pull out couch downstairs as our third bed which made it difficult for sleeping since located next to the main kitchen and family room area (all one large open space). Would not recommend this location if you need three separate bedrooms. Otherwise it was lovely, clean and very centrally located.

The condo was so comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen and many thoughtful touches that included toiletry items in case you forgot your own, cozy throws, good lighting throughout and comfortable seating. The location was convenient to Douglas and downtown Saugatuck, and it was easy to hop on the highway to go to the Holland area or go apple picking at Crane's Orchard, which we enjoyed. We also appreciated the Welcome information book, and the local brochures for hiking, art galleries, etc. Matt's condo was a great find!

We had a wonderful week in this condo! All of the extras - snacks, spices in the cabinet, extra beach towels, several different types of coffeemakers - were greatly appreciated. The cabinets had many choices of mugs, glasses, plates and bowls. We also loved that there were several locations with a light on a dimmer (Dining room, living room). Having a washer and dryer available down the hall was also a plus. The porch is fantastic! So relaxing,. The sofa cushions for the porch are perfect and easily accessible. The gas grill was also great for cookouts and dinners watching the sunset. There is a really nice overlook area if you don't want to walk all the way down to the beach, easy to get to by walking around to the other side of the building. We got some great northern lights pictures from that lookout. Patty was always helpful and easily accessible - answering any questions I had within the hour, sometimes in just minutes!

My family of 4 that included a 1 year old and 3 year old loved staying here. The location was right by everything you would need and very walkable. The apartment itself had everything our family needed with this apartment being right on the water so we didn’t have to haul things back and forth. The beach was amazing and the warm salt water pool was a great break when we didn’t want to stay on the beach. What topped it off were the sunsets from the patio area which was HUGE and had plenty of chairs and tables for us to sit and watch. The 3 year old had a great time running and burning the last of her energy while the sun went down. Overall I would recommend this place for anyone that has kids and the location is hard to beat. We will definitely stay here again!!!

My husband & I rented this gem for a week. The condo is spotless, kitchen has many amenities, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and we loved it! We loved being right on the water/ beach and close to town. Highly recommend this adorable condo.

The place is super cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and the area is quiet and peaceful. I felt safe and right at home as I was here for an extended stay! I 100% recommend!
