Watch otters, seals and blue Herons as you sip your morning coffee on the covered deck. Use the 2 sit on top Kayaks and paddle board, included with your stay, to explore the harbour and the small islands across from the house. We live here and our home is compliant with the laws and bylaws for our area. There is a full kitchen and open, spacious dining and living areas.

A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. 1 Bedroom suite with 2 double beds, a full kitchen, living room with a 40 inch TV and a dining table. A washer and dryer and a full 3 piece washroom is in the suite. EV charger available for additional charge. The location is in south Nanaimo. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown and the Airport, Duke Point and VIU. Departure Bay is about 15 minutes away. Nanaimo River Park is a short drive away. Cedar is 10 minutes away. There is transit near by with a walk from the bus stop.

Welcome to your home away from home! Enjoy your stay in the private studio of a house that was built in 2017 and is well looked after and loved. Close to Vancouver Island University, Nanaimo Aquatic Centre, Nanaimo Ice Centre and Nanaimo Harbour. Central to both major ferry terminals with driving time of approximately 12 mins to each and approximately 15 mins to the airport. There is a shopping complex nearby that features Quality Foods, Coop Gas Station, liquor store and pharmacy.

Our approx. 600 sq. ft. suite is on the lower level of our home. We offer a private entrance, one private bedroom, a private bath( with shower, toilet and sink/vanity), microwave oven, fridge, eating and relaxing areas, large tv, wifi and the use of a private patio, small lawn area and barbeque. Parking is available for one regular size vehicle. No smoking or partying. No pets. Please be advised that we are not set up for infants or children so the suite is for adults only.
