This house was amazing and the host was extremely responsive. We were looking for a place to relax and fish, and this was perfect. We were only there for few days but managed to catch so many different types of fish and probably close to 60 fish total. The house was clean and had everything we could imagine. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing adventure.

We enjoyed our long weekend at the lake, and Joe was a responsive, helpful host. The house is just as described and photographed...cozy and comfortable. The fresh coffee grinds and filters were nice extra touches. We spent a lot of time on the paddleboards and kayaks, which were easily accessible in a locked storage room off the dock. The dock is nice and wide for sitting by the lake on the Adirondack chairs with a good book or speaker for music, which we enjoyed doing. We cooked in each night, having brought food from home, and we also made a grocery run to Wal Mart about 20 mins away. We returned home today rested and relaxed after our lake weekend, and would stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakefront home! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we could have possibly needed for a relaxing getaway. Michael was very responsive and the place was incredibly well prepared! Waking up to the view of the lake every morning was a real treat! Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay! We were there for my youngest daughter who turned one yesterday! Perfect place to stay that was close to my in laws so we could have a party for her at a local park. Melissa was very kind to help us with a small change in our stay due to unfortunate circumstances. My wife is already making plans to stay again in the near future.

Appreciated the responsiveness and clear instructions of the host. Made the stay very easy for our outdoor activities.

The place is incredibly clean, spacious, and comfortable. Great furniture. Lots of seating, table space. Very very clean--with lots of paper origami to greet us. Michael is very responsive and even shipping out an item that we accidentally left. Note that when you drive there, make sure to go to 1497 Us Highway 158 W, Yanceyville, NC 27379, NOT what the Airbnb app tells you. That is, make sure you input US HWY 158 WEST. It's right on US158--you don't need to go down a dirt road or anything. Was lucky to pass the guy who lives where the app sends you, and he said it's a common problem.

Excellent peaceful stay on the lake for a family reunion

The view was extremely beautiful. The full moon over the lake was absolutely stunning. Super cozy, and the host was very helpful with any questions I had. I stayed for two more nights after my first initial stay, because it was such a good deal and super convenient because I had work in the area. Would stay again!

We needed a peaceful get-away for the few days that both my daughters and my wife had time off from school, and Susan's place fit the bill perfectly! The home is cozy, warm and inviting - upon entering it for the first time my 19 yo daughter exclaimed "I love this place" so I knew I did something right by renting it. Everything was advertised from amenities to the peacefulness of the surroundings. We had no interest in going anywhere so we brought everything with us and that worked out great, which would be my advice! Thank you again Susan for hosting us for a perfect weekend in your lovely cabin we can't wait to get there again soon!
