Our first visit to Lake Norman & this property was perfect for our family of 7. Well maintained, well stocked, excellent amenities, great communication & responsiveness. If we return to Lake Norman - we would def book this same place again!

I hesitantly write about how awesome this place is cause I don't want it to get overbooked. lol This was a break from reality weekend trip and it did not disappoint. We cooked out, lounged around and enjoyed the hot tub. You have privacy, all the amenities and very responsive hosts. I highly recommend this place and we cant wait to go back.

This cozy cottage is perfect for any getaway! Just a drive away to popular towns or a perfect place to just relax, listen to the breeze and enjoy the porches!

It's a really charming, comfortable, clean, and quiet place. It has the best kitchen equipment of any place I've stayed: a large set of dish- and glassware, pots and pans, plush towels, comfortable bed. The host communicated well and quickly. I would definitely return.

Super cozy! Bed was insanely comfortable. Peaceful and private location, but still close to lots of entertainment. Would stay again.

We had 7 family members and two dogs stay at the house and it was perfect. The river beautiful and the beach makes it easy to slip the boats in and out. The host was very responsive and helpful.

My only complaint is the instructions for checking in on the keypad lacked a key component. Had to search out office staff at the place to find out how to check in the main gate. Everything else was very simple. Great stay. Beautiful and clean accommodations. Very convenient to everything I wanted to do. Would stay again.

Catawba River Cottage is a beautifully decorated, very clean home with well-thought out amenities. Best of all, it has a peaceful view right on the Catawba River. We loved that the home has plenty of outdoor seating spaces for enjoying the views. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock. We would definitely return in the future.

This was our second stay here. It’s such a cozy little home to stay in when we need a rental in the area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is very cute and safe. Great for going on walks. Plus just a short jaunt to so many places in Hickory.

My family and I loved this home so much that we can’t wait to go back. The home is beautiful inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, amazing deck and dock. The view from this home is absolutely gorgeous. We loved watching people enjoying the lake on their boats and jet skis. My daughters loved the paddle boat. The home is fully supplied with life vests also. We really appreciated that. This home outshined any home I ever booked. 10 out of 10! Can’t get over the views and multiple decks. We will be back :).
