What a beautiful home in New Providence! Immaculate, charming and quiet neighborhood. We loved the spacious kitchen and downstairs area which had lots of books to read and told the history of the home. Very close to excellent restaurants and minutes to downtown Lancaster. Well worth the price. Barbara was super responsive and had great recommendations whenever I had questions. Excellent stay!!

The place was clean, had enough space and is perfect size for a couple or small family.

Only once ever you stay there, you will be able to understand why there are so many good reviews for Carol's place. We definitely would like to come back again sometime later.

It's a perfectly lovely cottage, as seen in the photos. One big happy room with a comfy bed. We stayed for a weekend, and drove to Philly a couple times (40 minutes?), which was close enough. We also hiked a bit. You can walk right out of the house, right down the road, right into the nearby state park, and right into the adjacent arboretum. Which is altogether pretty cool. Could it possibly be better? Yes, the one drawback is that you're staying in someone's yard. But the house is pretty far back, and we did not meet our hosts, or anything like that. That is to say it felt very private. In short, it was absolutely 100% worth the price.

Wonderful place to just get away and quiet your worries. Great meditation with the winds in the trees and the sounds of the birds. The jacuzzi was wonderful! Well heated, 3 stations: one to laydown and get the shoulders and back the other 2 sit you in a cradle-like chair one for the neck the other lower back. It fits 6 comfortably. It was alittle rainy but it wasnt so bad that we couldn't keep our fire going all night. Both the grill and stove were used to cook and the dishwasher was nice for quick cleanup. Just had to rinse the dishes and put them through. The shower is ada compliant but made it kind of small for bigger people to stand comfortably, great if you like sitting down while showering. The bed was comfortable and loved the globe nightlite. The layout of the overall place made our stay just feel like we were at home. Thank you so much Kara!

Barbara’s suites was more than just a quintessential stay; it was an experience that left a lasting impression on my family & I. Barbara is the salt of the earth. She embodies hospitality & is gifted in making those who cross her path feel like a life long friend. She made sure that we felt comfortable and settled in from the moment we met her. The post office suite was full of story & character. With every turn there is a corner, cove, or nook & cranny to behold. You can’t help but feel inspired while cooking breakfast in a kitchen inspired by the iconic Vincent VanGogh. Each and every room was intentionally curated with beauty, comfort, craftsmanship, & care. It’s very quiet & private. There is a stunning shared library/reading room that includes a hutch of children’s toys & books that Barbara provided. My children were thrilled and made good use of them! The grounds are beautifully kept & full of open space for children to play in & explore. We can’t wait to come back!

Lynn's place was perfect for visiting Longwood Gardens. The location was close to Longwood, beautiful, the interior was cute and very cozy, and they thoughtfully provided so many snacks and food items, in addition to all the cookware we needed. We especially appreciated coming back from our day at Longwood, enjoying the hot tub in the cool night and beautiful scenery and then hopping back inside where the wood fire stove warmed us right up. And if you like books, they have a large, interesting variety to choose from. Friendly, responsive hosts!

My family and I love HdG, having come for the past four years for weekend vacations. We found this listing when looking for a pet-friendly place to stay over Indigenous Peoples Day weekend 2024, as well as my birthday. The listing is very accurate, and the space is perfect for a stay in HdG. It’s close to everything you could need. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, having supplied the space with TONS of snacks, coffee, tea, sparkling water, and a Brita pitcher. They were so sweet to also welcome us with a bottle of sparkling wine and balloons! We would happily stay here again. The hosts are hospitable, communicative, and friendly. The space itself is comfortable, quiet, and cozy.

My stay was wonderful only problem i had was the sheets had little crumbs, but once i messaged Clifton about it, he brought new sheets very quickly. Also had to rinse out the tub from little dirt. Overall the stay was great, Clifton was an awesome host and i will definitely book again!! Thanks for your hospitality Clifton!

Perfect in every way. Beautiful inside and the surroundings were astounding. So clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and the beds were so plush and comfy. We needed a place to stop for the night and we didn’t mind getting a few minutes off the beaten path to find some peace and quiet. Not only did Gini honor our same-day request, but her thoughtful touches made us feel so welcome and at home. The ride to Gini’s beautiful home was breathtaking as the sun was setting…just as breathtaking as the view from the porch when the sun came up the next day. We plan to go back when we can stay longer and take advantage of the treehouse too! A truly unique and special gem. Thank you for your kindness and for welcoming us Gini! We hope to see you soon.

Beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable bedrooms. Paola was very responsive and every thing we needed was there. Highly recommend this place parents visiting their adult children at BayHealth or the Air Force base.

Efetobore was kind, thoughtful and was immediately responsive with any concerns I had during My stay. The place was the perfect fit. It had all the amenities I needed for the length of time I stayed there. The outside area was nice and a private space to just enjoy the weather and have a cup of coffee. I plan on being in the same area next year and I’ll definitely be booking with him again.

This is our second time staying here and will come back again! Had everything we needed inside the unit. Loved that we could walk everywhere in Chestertown and to the college. Very quiet, peaceful side street. Stephen and Mariana are lovely people!

This is a gem in a lovely neighborhood. The host could not be more helpful . This is a spacious open plan. Great value for family in particular, plus a pool! Definitely the place to stay when you are in this area.

The home itself was very lovely. The view was very pretty and the area was very quiet and peaceful. We loved getting back from anywhere we went, and occasionally when we would leave, getting to see and pet their cute dogs. Overall it was a great stay and not too far from home for a nice staycation.

We had a great stay at Becky and Dave's place! The location is great - nice balance of convenience (near to town) with being in the country with a nice walking trail nearby. The space is very comfortable, with all the amenities one might need. It was also refreshing and appreciated to not have big instruction / to-do list! We appreciated the thoughtful touches such as keyless entry (no need to keep track of keys) and having a readily available HDMI hookup for connecting your favorite streaming device. Parking and check-in instructions very clear and convenient. Recommended!

Great place. We had a lovely time!! Our dog chewed Pauline’s door stopper and she was very professional and prompt through the entire process. We paid through AirBnB and it was sorted really quickly. Definitely recommend!!

This property is located in an amazing neighborhood. Beautiful tree lined streets with amazing homes make for a quiet and peaceful morning stroll. Within walking distance are a number of excellent restaurants, parks and museums. The rental unit is cozy and secluded with all the things needed for an enjoyable short or extended stay. The hosts, Ed and Tracey, are awesome and always available for a quick question or recommendation to a local restaurant or places to visit. Would not hesitate to stay there again and plan to this coming April.

Beautiful spot on the water, very clean. Plenty of room for a couple to stay. The owner was responsive and very flexible when we needed to stay longer. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at the stone house! The place itself was lovely and peaceful, very clean, exactly as described. The beds were extremely comfortable! The best part, however, was Candace herself and her wonderful family. Our children became fast friends and played together outside; it felt much more like a home than a temporary place to stay. We will be back if possible :-)
