We are 20 min from Terre Haute (Indiana State U.), 20 min from Raccoon Lake for swimming and boating and an hour from Indianapolis. We have ample parking for your boat and trailer! The home offers two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, ample storage, and room-darkening blinds for a restful night's sleep. Enjoy additional sleeping space with a pull-out sofa in the living room and a futon in the finished basement game room.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rain or shine, the attached garage has an entertaining area. Ideal living with two couples and children while walking trails in the woods. Fishing pond has been stocked with Indiana fish, Blue Gill, Rock Bass, and Crappie. The fish can be kept and eaten. Plenty of deer and wildlife including wild turkeys and racoons. Two fire pits with chairs are on the 43 acres. Froggie nights under the stars.

If the quiet country sounds like what you are looking for, you will find it here. Located just 5 miles off I-70 south of Brazil. Easy access to all Covered Bridge Locations.

Captain Bill’s Lake House Heated Salt Water Pool

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated salt water pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is available on the property, inquire for details. Heated Salt Water Pool is seasonal beginning May 1, through September 30th.
