Feel free to ask us anything! Völs/Fié is one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in South Tyrol. Activities include hiking, skating, biking, skiing, and swimming. Several recommended restaurants, shops, and the tourist information center are all within easy walking distance. We will provide information upon your arrival about public transportation, Fié/Völs and the Dolomites. Feel free to ask us anything! The "Piazza Fié di Sopra" is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Fié (Völs am Schlern). Until the 20th century it used to be a small village with a blacksmith, a wheels maker, a farm and an old tavern by the name of "Löwenwirt" (Lions' Inn). Its centre was formed by a small chapel with an ample garden. If you like panoramic views, the frontside of the chapel will be the place for you! Winter: South Tyrol is a skier's paradise! The Alpe di Siusi can be reached in 10 minutes by car or public transport, other nearby spots are Val Gardena and the Sella Mountains. Skating and sledging can be enjoyed at the idyllic Völser Weiher. Spring Summer: Do not miss the nearby Völser Weiher (bathing lake) and the castle Prösels. Völs is a wonderful area for hiking and mountain biking (Dolomites), for day trips the alpe di Siusi is perfect. According to "Magazin der Süddeutschen Zeitung", one eats particularly well on the Tschafonhütte and the Gostner Schwaige. We can confirm that from experience :-) Autumn: Autumn is the time of harvest and vintage. Völs has some very good "Buschenschänke" and "Völser Kuchenkastl" (Traditional Harvest Specialties) to offer. Hiking and mountain biking in September and October are possible depending on the weather!

Our apartment is located in the Budapest Broadway, at the border of the 6th and the 5th district.The building was built in 1903 according to the plans of Alfred Wellisch and it is in nice condition now. The elevator takes you up to the top floor (3rd floor), where you see wide original cement tiles on the corridor floor. In the corner on the left-hand-side you will find the front door of the apartment. Upon entering the apartment you find yourself in the spacious entry hall. Immediately on the right you find the bathroom no.1, following that comes the laundry then the on left side is the bedroom no.2. If you go straight, you arrive to the huge living room. After entering the living room you can find bedroom no. 1 on the right side. You will locate a "secret" door in there (on the right side). Behind it there is a walk-in warderobe and crossing it you arrive to the bathroom no.2. The apartment has very high quality in every details. We have many designer pieces.:-) Equipment: Wifi, Samsung Smart UHD"46"tv with keyboard, Satellite channels, Washing machine, Iron, Drying rack. I will then explain the most important things about the apartment, the surroundings and the the city. I can also help you with transport from and to the airport or train station. I am on a 24hour duty when I have guests. During your stay you can contact me on phone, viber, skype, messenger, whatsapp. The apartment is around the corner from the grand boulevard in Budapest's historic downtown area, close to the Opera, St Stephen's Basilica, the Hungarian Parliament Building, the WestEnd shopping center, and the city's famous ruin bars. The elevator in the building is only to be used to go up, after arriving, it has to be sent back to the ground floor.

The flat is located in the fifth district, in the heart of downtown Budapest. The neighborhood is lively and restaurants, cafes, and ruin bars are all around. The street is very close to the famous Dohany synagogue and Vaci shopping street. Getting around couldn't be easier from this flat. You can either walk around to the famous city center highlights or use any of the excellent public transportation; bus, metro or tram. The flat is 50-200 meters distance from bus, tram and metro stations. The flat is located in the second floor of an historical building that was designed by the same famous architect of the opera house. The flat is modern but the building is not renovated and has NO LIFT, similar to many of Budapest's downtown buildings that bring together past and present, old and new.
