Welcome to Trekker in Lake George, New York at the base of the Adirondack Park. When staying at our unique resort you will not only experience and see many different types of rentals like treehouses, yurts, earth homes, and cabins but you can explore our wildflower fields, play with our goats and chickens, and observe our honeybee hives. While the seasons and nature provide, take home some honey from our hives, eggs from our coops and fresh maple syrup from ours and other local farms.

The yurt is located 200m walk away from parking. here's what you'll find on site - A power bank - A propane BBQ - Outdoor shower kit (not in cold months) - If needed we can arrange in house RMT massage (pending availability) We also operate additional STR in Napanee. Situated on a farm. It's 100% privacy, solitude & isolation, 100' from a barn & has everything to make you comfortable i.e Wi-Fi, TV & great sound system. Building has 2 levels. The lower is an open plan 400 sq ft comprised of kitchen, living room (w/ foldout couch) & bathroom. Sliding glass doors lead you to a private covered deck overlooking a wooded gully. The COMPOSTING TOILET is a environmentally friendly unit. The loft accessed by a NARROW SPIRAL STAIRCASE w/ queen sized bed.

The 30’ yurt on the southeast edge of the Catskills, has served as an art studio, retaining a calm feeling of relaxation and creative energy. The circular space is simple and comfortable. Large windows and private deck look out onto a gentle incline leading to a scenic pond. You may be awakened by songbirds, the sighting of a heron, hummingbird, or deer. The sounds of peepers or gulping frogs and general sounds of nature at night begin as the sun sets over the mountain. Enjoy!

The Yurt can be configured as a guest house with up to 3 Queen mattresses, yoga or sound bath studio, meeting or rehearsal room, and more, and has electricity, heat, a large deck, compost toilet, wash station, outdoor shower available as an add-on, (but no running water) BBQ, fire pit, telescope (!) and excellent WiFi.

Catskill Hilltop Getaway

Located on the outskirts of the Catskill Mountains is our unique octagon building. At the top of a dirt road where the trees part and a beautiful view awaits you’ll find the perfect country getaway. Our building sits on 150 acres of land that is open to hiking, bird watching, and exploring at your own risk. Our land in addition boarders 240 acres of NYS DEP land that is open to the public for hunting, hiking, and a variety of other activities.

Stay in a private 20’ yurt at AOS R&R, Arts On Site Residency and Retreat Center. The yurt is located on 19 acres of pristine nature in the Shawangunk mountains, minutes from Minnewaska State Park, and hikes to waterfalls and high mountain lakes. Guests can stay in the forest and enjoy the amenities of our retreat center including the cedar barrel sauna, communal kitchen and bath house. It’s a great location to relax and immerse in nature.
