Jason and Scott are truly Great hosts. Their cottage is amazingly lovely, clean, with a wonderful view and complete amenities. All we need are readily and conveniently available. Instructions are clear, and the place is indeed very guest-friendly. We had a homey and very special experience. The SPA is also a great deal and the view is breathtaking. We will be back, and hopefully longer stay. Thanks to them for sharing their place; we, as a family, just made another priceless memory.

We stayed here prior to a cruise on Doubtful Sound. Very comfortable rural setting on a farm for two couples. A dozen farm eggs for us in the fridge, making for a nice meal of omelets, combined with some extras purchased at nearby Four Square. Plenty of cereals and yogurt. Highly recommended.

Simon is a warm and responsive host, always ready to assist even before my arrival. The Black House offers excellent privacy and enough parking space in the yard. It is a short 5-10 minute walk to the city center, where you will find the Dark Sky Project Base and various restaurants. The house is clean, cozy, and spacious, matching the photos perfectly. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are laundry equipments in the master bedroom. An extra double bed on the second floor is there if you want to take the stargazing experience to next level. While the standalone heater wasn’t very effective during the chilly New Zealand autumn, the additional of heating mattress ensured warm, comfortable nights. The outdoor hot tub was a delightful bonus and I had a great time with it :) I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Lake Tekapo for a stargazing getaway trip.

We had a great stay at this wonderful spot! My wife, 11-month old, and I stayed for 4 nights. Cozy, clean, peaceful. Randall and Amanda were welcoming and extremely helpful. Loved the fresh bread, eggs, & jam and the apples and almonds straight off the trees! We were happy to support and experience this sustainable, off-grid farm. Would definitely stay again if we end up back in the area. =)

great home base for exploring Mt Cook. Tania's place had everything we needed. the grill was super convenient. the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too flat for us and the bed sheets were noisy. Tania was a great host and very responsive/accommodating. we would definitely stay here again.

A cozy spot hidden away from crowds but not too far from the city. Incredible views, super warm when we went in mid-Autumn as Wendy had kindly left the heater on. Easy to find and check in - the lift was definitely helpful to bring our bags up for us tired folk post-hike. Laundry was easy to use and find - a great touch for travellers like us that wanted to pack light!

We are so thankful for Vickie’s hospitality. It was cosy and just what we needed for accommodation. As a base for Queenstown. The views were incredible and peaceful plus the property backed right onto a wonderful trail. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you for having us Vickie and we hope to stay again in future!

We had a fantastic time staying here. All the bedrooms were a great size and the open plan dining and lounge area was huge. The place was spotless and had a good range of kitchenware. The highlight for our daughters was Indy (super friendly dog) coming over to say hello and the sight of the merino sheep running across the field to get some snacks.

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Daisy's Airbnb. Communication was prompt and clear. Her place was very comfortable including a good bed and heating in lounge and bedroom. Excellent location. Would definitely rebook if we needed to stay in Wanaka again. Thank you Daisy & Kris.

We enjoyed the stay with discover takepo. very close to the lake, wonderful view from back of the house. lot of games included in the house for families with kids.

My family enjoyed our time in this beautiful whare(house) from the spa, to having dinner(BBQ)outside with a view with the fire going at the same time. Everything we wanted in our stay in Queenstown. I’ll definitely recommend this house for family of 11 (6adults,3kids & 2 infants)

Great house. Clean, light, cozy and very well stocked. Location is central and walkable to everything yet tucked away from the main road. Great view of the mountains. The hosts are fantastic and very communicable.

Lovely place; very spacious for two people and set in a beautiful garden visited by a wild peahen. We enjoyed the visits from their sweet dog and cat too. Conveniently located to Dunedin, grocery shopping and nearby beaches.

Great place to stay, good location not far from Wānaka town. House was clean and tidy and Paula was very helpful!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The kids played endlessly in the back yard and pool as well as at the park across the street. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room and walking to the nearby beach and trails. The house is not in the best of maintenance (worn out carpet, door knows that don’t quite work, etc), but these were not show stoppers for us. No regrets for picking this place, if you have a big group and are looking for a great location, some extra space, and a cabin-like feel, this fits the bill.

We had an amazing stay here in Arrowtown. Modern, easy parking, outside area and a handy walk to town. Exactly as described and Scott was a wonderful Host. We hope to see you again soon! Thanks

Fantastic location, clean and tidy. Lovely and warm on cooler evenings. So handy being 2 minutes walk to the Cadrona pub for dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy's home! Upon arrival, we were in awe of the modern property and beautiful surroundings. There was a blend of rain and sun during our stay, so we took advantage of every space. The home's interior is both contemporary and comfortable, with a sitting room and living room on one end and bedrooms and bathrooms on the other. A great layout. The outdoor space is generous, with a large deck, roomy seating area, and excellent pool to take in the mountain views. If you're lucky, you'll get a visit from the adorable neighborhood cat. This home was in a great central location for all of our activities – close to the action, yet far enough away for peace and seclusion. We hope to return someday!
