This 2BR lakeside home is perfectly suited for a peaceful and relaxing yet accessible getaway. Beds are provided for sleeping up to 6 people (a queen in the master bedroom and a quad bunk in the second bedroom). A sofa sleeper allows guests alternate sleeping options as well. A five minute drive into the local town provides easy access to groceries, general goods, and local restaurants.

For the explorers, there are plenty of gravel roads to bike, kayaks available for the pond, and flora and fauna to find. ***Please note*** This is a dry cabin-meaning there are no water facilities inside, but there is an exterior entrance to a bathroom/shower off the main house that is available 24/7.

Marion Lake is so beautiful and peaceful. Rich in history! Marion County Park and Lake is the result of two FDR New Deal programs that were born during the 1920's depression. The Civilian Conservation Corps and Work's Progress Administration's goals were to put men to work and conserve our natural resources. We are just a short distance from the water. Our little cabin is perfect for a get away! You can fish (with a license), kayak or stroll.
