What a wonderful place to spend a few days in the Cape. A beautifully appointed venue with plenty of personal touches, a fantastic view, plenty of birdlife, and a fire place for the chilly evenings. We loved our time there and will certainly return.

Stayed for a week with my 2 kids and was perfect location to explore the south peninsula and close proximity to Muizenberg beach which was great for surfing. The local 5km parkrun on Saturday mornings at Zandvlei was a short drive to the opposite side of the lake. The outdoor entertainment area is very well sheltered from the wind and also has a retractible canopy should one require more shade, which we took advantage of, and braaied every evening. Everyone also had a lot of fun using the peddalo, canoe and row boat and we even tried our hand at fishing off the pier. The open plan indoor lounge/dining room is much larger than they look in the pictures and the main bedroom has a beautiful view out of the large sliding glass windows onto the lake. The area inside Marina de Gama is very safe and has some great walks around the island. Franks Bagels inside the Marina is also a must for a breakfast or lunch and is within walking distance. Will be back and highly recommend.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison. L'endroit est idéal pour le calme et la détente. Nous avons pu profiter du lac et des nombreuses balades en paddle. La maison est idéalement située pour se rendre à Muizemberg et les nombreuses plages du Cap. Un petit bémol concernant le matériel de cuisine, il manque quelques casseroles et ustensiles. Merci pour cette belle expérience.

We stayed for a month in this beautiful home and it was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect,right on the lake, in a quiet, safe area. The house is spacious, well-equipped, and truly feels like a home. Our favorite part was the garden, with its lovely pool and breathtaking mountain views. During our stay, there were a few minor issues (such as the dishwasher, the gardener, and the pool), but none of these were things the owners could have foreseen or prevented. What really made the difference for us was how everything was handled—quickly, efficiently, and with great dedication. We especially want to highlight Veronica, the house concierge. Her service was exceptional. She solved every issue immediately, went above and beyond, and was always available to help and answer our questions. We have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world, but we have never experienced this level of care and commitment. Thanks to her, our stay was seamless, and we felt completely supported. Thx!

I felt at home as well as my team. This place was exactly what we needed to rest and relax with our grueling schedule. This place is spacious and I will definitely look first to see if it’s available when I need a spacious place to stay in Cape Town.

Excellent stay! Clint and Michael were super friendly and proactive. The place itself was great with beautiful surroundings - and super clean! Area is very safe and quiet, with lots to do. They really made the place feel right at home. Would highly recommend this stay anyday!

I had a wonderful relaxing three months stay with Cornel and Diane, both hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, initially problems with the DSTV which took time to correct, however Cornel was very pro active in getting it sorted. The apartment is vey spacious with a huge patio and the views are truly amazing, a good range of shops and take aways very close, I would strongly suggest having transport as to get to the apartment there is a very steep hill. Cornel and Diane are great hosts, who will be as helpful as you require, and are readily on hand to sort any possible issues. I fully recommend staying with Cornel and Diane.

Das Appartment von Andrew ist sehr geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet- wer Kunst und viele kleine liebevolle Details liebt, wird sich dort sehr wohl fühlen. Der Blick vom Bett über die Terasse reicht bis zum Meer und der Sea Point Promenade. Andrew und das Housekeeping (thanks to Portia for the flexibility) sind unglaublich freundlich. Der Oranjezicht Market und die Waterfront sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar (oder für wenig Geld per Uber). Parken auf der Straße ist kein Problem! Nur lärmempfindlichen Menschen würde ich dieses Appartment nicht empfehlen (Autoverkehr und wenn es schlecht läuft der Leuchtturm, aber nur bei Nebel). Zusammengefasst super Lage, sicher und heimelig!

Perfect location for CTICC conference, being 5 minutes walk from it. Safe, quiet, secure, comfortable. Julia and team are proactive and really care for your wellbeing and comfort.

A Wonderful Stay That Felt Like Home Most often when you book via Airbnb, the actual place can differ from what’s shown in the pictures. That wasn’t the case here. I came with my family, and we instantly felt at home—the kids absolutely loved it! The view from the apartment is stunning. You can clearly see Table Mountain, the port side, the canal, and the overall beautiful surroundings. If we get a chance to come back, we will definitely book this apartment again. Thank you for hosting us and making our stay so memorable!

Our stay was fantastic! The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk to the V&A Waterfront, the stunning Silo Hotel, and the incredible Zeitz MOCAA museum. You can take a scenic and safe walk along the canal behind the building, though the path closes at 8 PM, after which an Uber is necessary. Fortunately, Uber is both affordable and reliable, costing around 60-70 ZAR from the V&A to the Airbnb. The unit itself is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and highly secure. However, there were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. Unfortunately, the washing machine was out of order, which was a key amenity we were looking for. While Rest Easy provided a laundry service as an alternative, not having access to in-unit laundry was disappointing. Additionally, the mattress was extremely firm—something to consider if you prefer softer beds or have back issues. That said, Rest Easy was wonderful to deal with—responsive, accommodating, and professional. They even held our luggage for a few

Another fantastic stay at Knightbright 404 (second time around). It’s the perfect location, secure, with great high-speed Wi-Fi with streaming, enjoyed the building amenities (especially the pool) and surrounding areas. Well-equipped for load shedding (inverter, gas stove), however, water pressure in the shower could be improved slightly. Thank you again and looking forward to booking again in the future.

Lovely stay at Donnas. The place is always neat and tidy. Lovely area. Close to so much lovely restaurants as well as walking distance to both malls. The gym is super close by as well. Donna always makes sure we have everything needed from butter, towels, soap, even dishwasher, washing powder etc. The small things we forget to pack in. Super easy to contact her in any situation. She responds immediately and makes extra effort to make you feel right at home. THANK YOU DONNA!!

What a wonderful experience! The perfect home away from home. Modern, but cozy. The pictures don't do it justice, it looks better in person. Also, the check-in was super easy since our flight was late, we managed to check-in on our own after midnight. Finally, the neighborhood is peaceful and we felt very safe. 100/10!

We had an amazing time at Siobhan’s place. We felt right at home - they live on the premises but you feel like you have your own space separately. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, and the pool was lovely. Plus you are close to Muizenberg beach and all other areas around nearby. They were so friendly and the space had everything you need - including the friendliest dogs and a lovely cat! We would gladly stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay. The marina and mountain views are amazing. The bird life as you would expect of a reserve was brilliant. African Harrier hawks, eagles and Pied kingfishers to name a few. The outdoor space is very large with access to a private pool (which was always super clean) and kayaks. The bedroom was spacious and had so much cupboard space and the walk-in shower was large. The lounge and kitchen were nicely appointed, and the wall mounted TV had all the DSTV channels. We had a fantastic stay, and we look forward to staying again. Thank you, Mark, you were a top host, and I recommend you and your lovely house highly. The sunsets finished the overall appeal off very nicely. Cheers cheers!!
