Beautiful well-furnished home near downtown restaurants, park and river. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. We brought our dog, which was a huge treat for us, and she loved getting to walk around the town. She is a bit particular with where she potties and since there wasn’t a yard with grass at the house, we had to walk her to the park each time, but it’s just a short walk across the street. Overall, this house and its location can’t be beat! Wendy is a great host! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous!! Best way to describe this wonderful home. Everything from the welcoming open room atmosphere to the wall hanging details made our stay very enjoyable. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great location, we would highly recommend!

We loved our stay in Buena Vista! The house was super clean and exactly as described. Great details like plenty of plugs in every room, well stocked kitchen, extra blankets, fans and space heaters. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!

What a view and great location! The house was exactly as described and a perfect place to return to after outdoor play. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for two families during spring break. Easy walk to river access for fishing, parks, and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves and would come again.

What a beautiful spot! The home is very cozy, with all the amenities you could possibly think of, comfortable and beautiful sitting areas, and gorgeous views from the windows. But the real gem is the outdoor space! We thought we would spend most of our time in downtown Salida, but we ended up spending hours enjoying the creek! It was a great spot for listening to birds, for the kids to float "bark boats" down the river, and for reading in the sunshine. I'm pretty sure my kids will always remember this place!

Carrie’s place was great. It had everything we needed and more! It had beautiful panoramic views and was very relaxing. We enjoyed watching the deer from the front and back windows! We’d definitely stay at Carrie’s place again!

Beautiful views of Collegiate Peaks and fantastic star gazing right from the hot tub. Very quiet neighborhood; but, super close to town.

The place was spotless and we really enjoyed the space , the outside and closeness of Buena Vista. The garage space is great for games and ski gear. The hot tub a pleasure , the kitchen fully equipped and the beds comfortable. We felt part of the family and would love to stay again.

First, take a photo of the key code and text to your group. I did not and left my phone in the house. So, yes, I locked us out. Everything was on my phone. My friend sent a message through AirBnB to Wendy explaining what happened. She called her right away and got us back in the house. Phew! The house is a 10-minute walk to downtown Salida, which is so cute. Full of shops, places to each, art galleries, stores for kids, an arcade, etc. One can walk to the grocery too. The house had everything we needed. It is nicely maintained, quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was the one bathroom. We managed with it. If you have a teen who takes forever anytime they in the bathroom, this could be a problem. Plenty of hot water for several showers in a row and lots of towels. Really like having the washer/dryer access even a drying rack. I would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a chilly Spring weekend with a dusting of snow so we snuggled up by the fire, read books and enjoyed cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. We look forward to coming back soon! Beautiful and comfortable home!

This home hosted us and our 5 friends with no issues. We each were able to retire to our own rooms and have plenty of group time comfortably in all the shared spaces. Also, the yard is very dog friendly and provided a great space for the dogs to run around. The owners were very communicative before our booking to help with booking changes and sent messages to make themselves available during the stay as well. Overall, we had a great time and I recommend this location for a stay in Buena Vista.

Although this home is close to #50 there was no road noise. This house is spacious and very nicely furnished. We cooked all our meals in the well supplied kitchen. The showers were great with good pressure and hot water. All bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. We have rented many places in Salida and this was our favorite.
