Very accommodating - listed for three nights we asked for two nights and Robert and Arlina made it happen.

I booked the Deckhouse for my birthday weekend and it was perfect. The deck is definitely the highlight, but all the rooms are spacious and accommodated the 5 of us with ease. The kitchen is well stocked and the farm fresh eggs were such an incredible bonus to the stay. We used the hot tub several nights and my only feedback is it would be great if it could fit the number of people allowed to stay there (it comfortably fits 4). I could not ask for a better host than Lisa. She is incredibly responsive, and allowed me to host friends for the dinner party of my dreams.

Great house for our family. All adult children had their own bedrooms, kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the rooftop patio. Very close to the beach, just 1 minute walk.

Had a great stay! The place was clean and spacious. Instructions for check in and out were easy, and Jennifer communicate everything up front and well before my trip which made planning super convenient. Beautiful view is the surrounding mountains and super close drive to town. I would definitely stay here again ☺️

Amazing hole, great host highly recommended.

We had a magical time staying at this quaint little house outside of town. Within seconds of parking the car, the horse next door stuck her nose over the fence to say hi to our 5 year old daughter who was over the moon to meet this gentle giant. She spent every moment available petting her nose and feeding her bits of grass. The house is super cozy and well stocked with kitchen items (pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, etc..) all the things needed to feel right at home. We even bbq’d on the patio. The house is in a rural area, plenty quiet and beautiful with a well stocked market 5 minutes toward Santa Paula and the town of Ojai 10 minutes in the other direction. Beds and couches are comfy, plenty of sheets blankets and towels available. Angela was super friendly & responsive if anything extra is needed. The WiFi worked great. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Had to find a place to house a midsize family while visiting my son’s future college and the space was perfect for myself, 3 children and in laws. Great space overall. It was so comfy that we canceled our plans on Sunday and just lounged at the house and enjoyed the space and cooked and hung out .usually on vacation you tend to create an itinerary for yourself but it was so comfy we decided to just stay at the house and relax . There were a great selection of board games, cards, a spacious backyard and tvs were huge. Only one room (with the bunk beds) had no TVbut that forced my kids to touch some grass lol. So wasn’t bad after all. A home away from home stay for sure . Will gladly come back there when we come down for visits with my son.

We had a great stay. Plenty of space for myself, husband and 3 children. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Selin was very responsive and flexible as well. We would stay here again.

Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir die Zeit in der Hummingbird Retreat verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Kinder wollten gar nicht weg, sie möchten Karen sehr gerne....die auch wirklich ein sehr netter Mensch ist. ich finde die Unterkunft in wirklich noch viel schöner und größer als auf den Bildern, Topangas Flair hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen... wir würden gerne irgendwann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

Stayed here for the weekend with my sisters and we loved it! Perfect location and clear instructions. The house is spacious and it’s nice that it’s a separate private area. Loved the pool and hot tub as well!

We had a wonderful stay at Norma's Casa Azul! We went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves and woke up to sunshine! We will be back for sure!

My family and I really enjoyed this beautiful property. The house was clean, nicely furnished and decorated, had comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. The crib was especially cosy and nicely made up for my baby grandson. The kitchen was large enough for multiple persons to cook together, which we did for our family breakfasts. The outside was truly lovely and the heavenly scent of wisteria and orange blossom was everywhere on the rear patio, the front veranda and even on the bocce court. We had a great time and couldn’t have asked for more.

This place was a fantastic get away from LA for me and my family. The amenities and location made this the perfect place for us to get some rest and rejuvenation. We are definitely coming back.

Second time staying and just like the first, it couldn't have been any better. Absolutely braifcul and cozy and relaxing space. Wonderful hosts, this is one of those places you never forget and always make time to make it back to.

Francesca was a great host. She was responsive to our needs and communicative about the pool and gardening services so we were not surprised or disturbed.

From locating the place and starting the process with Matthew to follow-up throughout and checking in to make sure we were happy, Matthew was all over it. His customer service and promptness in responding was outstanding. The home itself was in excellent condition. Everything was so clean and fresh flowers were added to the interior prior to our arrival. He even left a bottle of wine to welcome our team. It was such a nice touch. The bedding, bedrooms and bathrooms were in pristine shape. Our team felt very comfortable in the home. All in all, this was a 5 star experience. We will definitely keep Matthew on speed dial in preparation for our next trip(s) to the Los Angeles area.

visiting a friend in Oxnard. We were lucky enough to find Kristi's Beach Bungalow. what a cute and well decorated cottage! The outside living areas truly complimented to cozy comfy interior. Even Better it is only .9 miles from the Rudder room, as me how I know. 🙂

i have stayed in this incredible property- my favorite home in topanga- before, but this time i arrived during the wildfires and the area was evacuated. they were immediately responsive and concerned about safety and gave me a full refund. i hope that the house wasn’t destroyed and that everyone got out in time.

The Perfect Respite : Uplifting, Serene, Unforgettable Donna is a remarkable host and a truly beautiful human. I booked a spontaneous, much-needed respite trip, and she was incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming. Her cottage is a peaceful oasis thoughtfully designed, immaculately kept, and full of uplifting touches. It far exceeded my expectations and provided the perfect space to rest and recharge. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a rejuvenating trip or change of scenery.

Karen's place was a great last minute stay for us while visiting family just a half mile away in Thousand Oaks. The big yard was great for the dog and made it easy to pull our truck into. The cottage is super clean and devoid of clutter which is nice. Bed was comfortable...though wish it was a queen size bed, but I totally understand that would be a tight fit. Washer/dryer worked well for us. Had one minor hiccup with some contractors who showed up to work on installing a new gate. Karen was quick to apologize and check-in with us. I appreciated that and it was a no harm, no foul item. On the plus side...the new gate to get into the property is a nice upgrade!

Thomas was so accommodating and responsive. His place is wonderfully decorated and the bed is so comfy! It is a great yard for a dog- there is a whole side yard as well. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. Would love to stay at Thomas’ place again :)

Nancy’s place was perfect for us for our week+ stay while visiting family in the area. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything that we needed. Nancy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the neighborhood as we are big walkers and the neighborhood streets and the preserve trail right at the end of the road were great for exercise. It was a bit of a cool week while we were in SoCal so the heater/fireplace was a welcome plus for keeping us comfortable. As a tea drinker, I was happy to have an electric tea kettle available while my husband enjoyed the keurig machine and the supply of k-cups Nancy provided. We would certainly stay again.

Larissa’s place was awesome. Nice secluded location that is not far from the coast. The two separate bedrooms along with the sofa bed worked out well! Kitchen was well stocked with stuff if you want to cook. Everything was extremely clean. Check in and out were a breeze with easy to follow instructions.
