But, please note following section about stairs: STAIRS: The house is of modern construction and has long stairs made of concrete and steel connecting the living room to the upstairs bedroom level. These can be a concern for the elderly, or for very young or unruly kids. A safety gate is available for the top of the main stairs, which installed upon request. ROOFTOP DECK Is an utterly private deck on the third floor, with 270 degree views, a peek of the Hollywood sign, chaise lounges for four, sofa for ten all surrounding a gas fire-pit. It’s a great place to sun and hangout, watch the sunset, or drink cocktails by the fire. Due to noise restrictions, guest use not permitted after 10 pm. PARKING: Two cars will fit in the driveway. (Except Tuesday morning 8:30-10:30 am street sweeping) In general, this neighborhood has ample street parking, except during summer weekends, or warm winter ones. SELF CHECK-IN The house features an electronic lock on the front door. Two days prior to your arrival I will send you your code that unlocks it, and you may let yourself in any time after 4pm on your day of arrival (or 1:30 pm for luggage drop off). House instructions and wi fi passwords are posted in the kitchen. EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE DEPARTURE This is a frequent request, and since the house is rented out nearly 100%, usually impossible to accommodate. The house takes five hours to clean between 11 am checkout and 4 pm check in. However, if you don’t mind seeing a messy house you may drop off luggage after 1pm. Similarly, if you are checking out and have a late flight, you may leave luggage by the front door until 12:30 pm. MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT. I get many more rental requests than I can handle. Weekend reservations that includes a Saturday night must be for a minimum of three nights. FILM AND EVENT USE The house has been used successfully for feature films, commercials, video interviews, catalog shoots, music videos, lifestyle photos, Wedding; dinners, brunches, makeup, family, photos, ceremonies; strategy meetings, special interest seminars, yoga retreats, dinner parties and, employee off sites. I generally do not allow birthday parties, bachelor /bachelorette parties, music performances, or any gathering likely to create excessive noise or disturb the neighbors. For speciaI uses, charge the daily Airbnb rate for the number of guests actually sleeping over, plus an additional flat fee that is based on the specifics of your use. To request a quote, tell me the number of people sleeping over each evening, plus an estimate of the total number of additional visitors, employees, guests , employees or service providers who would be at the property each day. Please provide detailed information about your event, including hours (events past ten pm not permitted). Guests are responsible for trash removal in excess of one containers worth, and I can connect you with a service to remove yours. This is a quiet, family neighborhood, and this is not a "party house". To preserve peace for my neighbors, outdoor areas may be used between 7:30 and 10 pm only. It gets lots of light during the day and has a blackout curtain over the headboard for when you need extra sleep. The 2nd bedroom is smaller than the master, but has plenty of space for a comfortable queen sized bed. It has a desk (for when it is time to get down to work). It's also appointed with a walk-in closet. The big backyard has both an avocado and orange tree. It is landscaped with native, drought resistant plants. With a lighted outdoor dining area, it's the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal and drink, or just lounge in the California sun. You have access to the entire home. An additional single bed can be added to the room if needed. The guesthouse has a separate kitchen area, however it is not a full kitchen. There is no stove or range. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer. At this time we do not accept long term guests.

Studio by the Beach with Separate Entrance

Open the sliding door to let the gentle sea breezes waft in and settle down to stream a favorite show on the Smart TV. The interior blends coastal touches with boho chic, and there are little luxuries like a work space and secluded private outdoor space. I adhere to the CDC cleaning protocols. I use UV C light for added disinfecting and sanitizing of the Studio, and have also added a Dyson air purifying fan and heater to insure you have clean air. This studio is located on the first floor of my three story home. The studio shares the first floor with the garage so you don't have any shared walls. You have two windows, one in the bathroom and a sliding glass door in the bedroom, they bring in light and the sea breeze but have no views. While this studio is private you may hear footsteps above, music drifting in from other parts of the house, and the sounds that come from everyday living. You'll have one parking space available on the right side of the driveway. More free parking is usually available at the end of the street, 15 houses down on panama. During the day there's extra parking at kiddie beach. I live on the two top floors of the house so i'm easily accessible for as much or as little interaction as needed. The setting on a quiet street is only half a block from channel Island harbors Kiddie Beach and 1.5 blocks to Silver Strand Beach, a popular surf spot and vantage point for catching the sunset. Watch for whales and discover a yoga studio, corner market, and salon, all only moments away. Hollywood by the sea has unique sounds too. You'll hear sea lions, boat horns, and on occasion a fog horn. Every morning at 8am you'll hear our national anthem, and at sunset you'll hear taps. You'll have to pay attention or you'll miss it. It's one of many thing I love about this area.

Walk to the Hollywood and Vine Metro Red Line Station, The Flyaway bus from LAX drops you off at Hollywood and Argyle just 5 blocks away. It is only 8 dollars. Uber and Lyft cars are everywhere Not Handicap Accessible - we are up two flights of outdoor stairs to enter the house, and bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. This house is not child-proofed so not suitable for children, there are floor to ceiling windows with no child guards.We do have a lovely doodle named Theodore. He is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He is kept in a separate yard and you won't be interacting with him unless you would like to of course!
