We’ve stayed with our two two year-old sons and couldn’t have picked a better place. The cottage is cosy and welcoming and incredibly well equipped for cooking sessions, rainy days, catching the evening sun in the garden or picking up tips for the next day out. The boys enjoyed the toys and books provided, the garden and the playground only a short walk away. The adults enjoyed that the town centre is in walking distance with a huge choice of cafes, pubs and shops and the fireplace in the evening. Henrietta and Ed have been perfect hosts, friendly and supportive. Thanks a lot.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Fantastic place to stay for a big group. Loads of room, really comfortable bedrooms, spotless bathrooms and an ideal kitchen/living area. Great garden area on both sides so perfect for young kids. Loads of useful bits left for us in the kitchen and really good communication from the host. Also a great location - good coffee (Humbl) and good drinks (Bottle Chop) walkable in 10 minutes, Meanwood Park 15 minutes walk away, easy access to Meanwood Valley Trail. Would definitely book again!

If you're looking for a true home away from home, this is the perfect spot. It's absolutely beautiful, warm, and inviting. The calming decor creates a peaceful atmosphere, and the kitchen is stunning—fully equipped with everything you could need, including a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave, and a freezer outside! The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the back garden is beautifully maintained—a lovely space to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Communication from the owners was perfect, can't fault anything! We felt completely comfortable and could have easily stayed for a week.

The Cow Shed is a perfect place to stay - it is centrally located, has the perfect host and offers the chance to embrace what country life is all about with goats, sheep and chickens close to hand if you want to say hello to them. A wonderful place and I’ll be back!!

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

The Coach House is a full building with private of street parking for one car flight outside. Great instructions with easy access. Inside, the smaller double and en-suite has the complete ground floor. Upstairs the huge queen bedded room has the main bathroom immediately opposite. The lounge is immense with space for all to sit at table or lounge in front of the 60 inch TV Smallish kitchen has everything you need. Annalisa was helpful and friendly from the outset with restaurant recommendations, great directions, and an impressive welcome pack. Plenty of power sockets for phones etc.

Lovely place to stay. Great location and a great back yard to enjoy the sunshine. Lovely house for the value.

Had a great stay in a beautiful property. Simon was friendly and helpful even providing us with fresh hen eggs for breakfast which were delicious. There was everything you could need at the property and we loved the games room with pool and darts. Walking distance to local pub with recomendations of the pizza from Simon which were delicious. Absolutely wonderful stay!

A great space to stay for a couple of nights near family. Beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet, useful to have a shop so close and good fish and chips down the road. Loads of lovely places to explore nearby. Great size garden too

We had a lovely stay in Haworth . The cottage was just perfect for us to explore the surrounding areas and do some lovely walks with our little dog . The cottage was lovely and clean and the sun trap outside area was such a bonus too! Thanks Claudia ! Ali and Ollie

Really nice modern 4 bed detached. Excellent location for football ground and local train station. Clean, spacious and all mod cons.

Had a great visit! Very fortunate for John to be understanding and allow us to film our final student short film. John was always very quick to answer any questions, he was very understanding of filming which is always appreciated. The location was beautiful with some lovely surrounding scenery. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

This house was available at short notice. The communication from Ambien was first class and the home was just what we were looking for due to building works at our property. The house was clean and tidy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I booked this accommodation for a newlywed couple, and they absolutely loved it! From the start, Louise was an incredible host—her communication was excellent throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the thoughtful surprise she left for the couple—it completely made their day and added such a personal, memorable touch to their stay. The place itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxed vibe that's just perfect for a city break. Would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you Colin for a lovely weekend! The cabin was beautiful- pristinely clean and very well thought-out with lots of lovely little touches to make staying there comfortable. Colin was also extremely kind and flexible with our booking- I broke my toe right before we were originally supposed to stay and he let us rearrange with no fuss- as it was such short notice he had no obligation to do this so it was extremely appreciated! Our trip when it eventually came around was well worth the wait, Colin's instructions made everything very easy and we had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend!

What a beautiful place. The outdoor area is stunning being surrounded by trees and the sound a running waterfall made it feel very peaceful. There is a lovely hottub to relax in too! Inside the apartment is decorated to a high standard and was perfect on arrival with soothing music playing. The bed and pillows are super comfy like sleeping on a cloud. This little snug was perfect in every way .

We had a fantastic stay at Sonia's place, the cottage was beautiful and was perfect for our family to stay over New Year. There was lots to do in the area and the cottage was in a great location. The hot tub was a fab addition in the frosty weather! Communication with Sonia was good and quick. Thank you! 😊

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

a fantastic little place with plenty to do in the village or neighbouring towns, lots of lovely little touches made it feel really well thought through and not a "standard air BnB" at all - fresh coffee, different teas, dressing gowns, welcome drinks, and plenty of logs for the log fired hot tub which we took advantage of every night of our stay. Also one of the increasingly rare places with a host confident enough not to leave lots of "please do this don't do this" type notes which helped us feel like we were at home really quickly.

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

we had the best time for my fiancé's birthday the cabin was lovely a clean and even provided a dog bed and treat. it was amazing waking up and watching the sheep and lambs and cows in the morning, the scenery is amazing and all the amenities you need are provided. amazing short stay we will definitely be back !
