We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

Dee's place (and Dee herself) is a true gem. She put so much care and thought into preparing for our stay and even left the sweetest birthday gift for me! She is very personable, friendly, and accommodating. My friends were impressed with the find and said "the pictures didn't do it justice". The space was clean, homey, and she went above and beyond in providing helpful instructions and all sorts of creature comforts for her guests. We felt like family!

This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

It fit my purposes perfectly as I was just spending the night before fishing on Charleston Lake the next day, 2 minutes from the boat launch. It’s in a really beautiful spot and is very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the heater made quick work of the morning chill. The fire pit area is excellent. The unit itself is a strange mix of modern and not. There is no running or hot water, you have to pump water with a handle from large bottles under the sink. The toilet definitely takes some getting used to. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

We stayed at the Aerie for a quiet escape over a weekend. It came as described and was a pleasure to spend some quiet time in a cottage setting with all the bells and whistles. The kitchen was well stocked and the large bath was a nice treat.

I stayed here for three days during kitchen renovations at home, and it turned out to be the perfect little retreat. The space was sparkling clean and beautifully appointed, with a stunning, serene view of the Rideau River right from the bedroom — such a peaceful way to start and end the day. I was working remotely during my stay, and the internet was fast and reliable, which made workdays seamless. A lovely bonus was the coffee shop just downstairs — great coffee and treats made my lunch breaks feel like a mini getaway. It’s also a dog-friendly spot, which was a huge plus. I brought my dog with me and we enjoyed daily walks along the river. All in all, a calm, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. Would definitely return!

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

Such a wonderful spot to escape to in South Frontenac!! The location right on the water was peaceful, and the amenities made it great for spending quality time together. We loved having access to the kayaks and a great selection of board games. The house came fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen – there were lots of extra supplies that were easy to find. The fire pit was also the perfect spot to make s’mores in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our booking and stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!
